says Online update, no message left, more tele-scum to deal with..

SCAM ALERT BEWARE:  CRIMINALS - Solar Panel-Received unsolicited call.   Criminals looking for gullible victims.  YET ANOTHER INDIA/PAKISTAN CALL CENTER CALL

Spoofed Number: Caution, 707-346-2157 is a "spoofed" number, which means that whoever called you "tricked" your caller ID to display an incorrect phone number.

Caller ID: CLEAN ENERGY

Of course they're STILL calling so now the number gets blocked.  Will NEVER do business with ANY company that does not respect the Do Not Call List.  We're not interested in solar anyway.

...rang three times; I don't pickup these calls because they're sure to be time-wasting jerks...who should really try to get a real job...instead of trying to scam people...ugh; ugly, pond scum!

My landline read "Online Update" no message left. I was not home and saw I had calls and thus was one number. Glad for 800notes. Strange numbers I never answer

I have been called several times, I don't answer, they don't leave a mesg

They waited on the phone weirdly then was like hi do you own your solar panels or rent solar panels. Caller ID is from Napa but I highly doubt it...

So they hang up on us or just keep the line open.  Guess they must get paid by whomever based on number of completed calls?  Just makes me shake my head......

It is called a "dropped call" which is dialed by a computer program.  It happens when they dial too many numbers and people pick up but there are not enough sales people to transfer those calls too.  They don't get paid "by the call".  I don't know where that myth started but it is simply that.

Received call, ID was "Online Update".  No message left.

Picked up because they've called 3 times in the last 24 hours. They wanted to talk to me about my solar energy panels. I do not own a home or own solar energy panels. At least it was a real person?

Simplest way to stop these trash calls is to install an apps blocking these call. Google play and Apple offer plenty of those - FREE. In my house, we had to disconnect our landline, it was so bad. Calls were driving us practically insane 24 hr a day, ANY HOUR of the DAY or NIGHT.   When we switched to cell only, it was OK for a while. Them, it started again. Now we installed these new apps. and it seem to work - calls are being disconnected right before our phones ring. We got peace and quite again!!!!

This number called at 10:25 AM Tuesday, 6-14-16.  It was a guy with no foreign accent, "home solar solutions."  I hung up.

Makes sense...  It was not a perpetuation of a myth on my part, merely uninformed speculation.  Thanks for the explanation.

Received 3 calls in one day from this number. Can they spell harassment?

Called no message.

Caller ID says ONLINE UPDATE. Called here, didn't leave message.
