I am sick an tired of debt collectors who think they have the right to call any and every one trying to hunt down someone they want to collect money from.  This number calls after the allowed FTC rule time.  If you get a call from this number after 8p.m. central time, report it at ftc.gov.  If you continue to be harassed, get a debt collection attorney to sue them like Shulman and Associates @ 800-444-8731.  I did!  You don't have to be the one they are looking for and it won't cost you a dime.  Take pictures of their calls and give them to your attorney.

I get calls from over 15 collectors asking for someone else--months and months and months of calls all day long.  I sent certified cease and desist letters.  I took photographs of the calls, got an attorney, notified the ftc., the calls continue.  People need to get fed up enough and call their Congressman or e-mail their Congressman to do something about this, what I call, domestic terrorism.  The only thing that stops these calls is disconnecting the phone wire.  I have read online where some people who have settled with debt collectors found charges on their bank accounts from unknown sources months later.  Don't talk to these collectors, period.  If you owe money, talk to the original creditor.

Don't take calls from 713-364-0041. It's not the United recovery systems. It's a scam to get your personal info. Don't even answer or give your name.  Be careful because they call from different numbers.

Don't take calls from this number. It's a scam.  It's a fake number. They are trying to get your personal info. I didn't answer because it said out of the area.

They call all hours of the day - every day for the past 3 weeks.  They also started using the number (832)476-0436.  Finally called them using a different phone - both numbers answered my call as United Recovery System and tried to get my Social Security Number.  It's a scam, in my opinion!

These collection wolves use all kinds of phone numbers to try to get through to you so statute of limitations will begin all over. If I had money I would pay them so they could lubricate their Lamborghinies,,or whatever. But it is all I can do to buy a little food. If I ever get rich again I shall pay them but meanwhle they are wasting their time.

Chase sent Allied Interstate after me,  after I sent a letter telling them not to contact me again.  Chase then sent Client Services Inc. to hound me.

J.P. Morgan Chase received 1.98Billion dollars in TARP (Taxpayer) funds that they do not have to repay.  Therefore I feel that you and I do not have to repay chase for any credit card bills.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.
Read up on your rights here, get template letters to send and also make a complaint at this government site:  http://www.consumerfinance.gov/

I think I was put on some telemarketing list that just exploded to them all for my not answering them. It sure seems like it. So, I just put a blocker on my phone that does not even rings now when they are being blocked.
