I received a call from an attorney saying he's  filing papers to get a warrant for my arrest for a payday loan from 2 years ago. I called the loan company and they stated they sold the loan to National Ajustory, and when I called them they say they sold it to Delray. And when I call Delray all I get is a voicemail. The person that originally called me from the attorneys office sound real unprofessional , saying her phone was "ttippin" and it even sound like she was outside on a cell phone.. I don't know what to believe.

I just the same phone call. Did you pay them the money? I don't think they are a real firm.

I received a call as well stating that I owe for a payday loan that I paid last year. When asked if I could fax my receipt stating I paid she said she does not have a fax machine. She then asked me to hold so she can call the District attorney's office and clicked over and said I have 3 loans I owe for, but I have only had two and they are paid off. I then asked her for the County office number she is calling and she gave me a bogus number that is disconnected.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.
