713-568-4020

I received a call directing me to call 713-568-4020 regarding case 11085840. They got my first name right but the last name wrong and the last 4 of the ssn they gave me was incorrect. When I told them my last name they corrected themselves to say it was me they were looking for but they couldn't give more information as the ssn didn't match yet they advised me they would come to my job between 3-5 to arrest me. They've called me before last year with the same thing and I was assured I was removed from the calling list, I think this number is a scam.

I received a call from 713-568-4020, from a Nancy who stated they have a pending case # 93130 against me and she will come to my home address between 3-5 tomorrow and I better make myself available, and if I was not at my home they will go to my place of employment and I need to have a security officer or someone else to witness the paperwork that I need to sign. She was very demanding and tried really hard to be scary on my voicemail.   1st of all I am on top of my Credit Report and have nothing outstanding, so I welcome the paperwork, but I believe these people are scammers.  DON'T CALL THEM.  If these were true outstanding debts then they would follow the law and not make threats.  All Collection people who follow the Law know these tactics are not legal.  I would know, I myself was a Debt Collector.  If they continue to bother you, file a report with the Consumer Complaints to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission)  ftc.gov/complaint

Adam calling from this number said same as above. Be home between 3-5 or they will come to my place of employment. LOL I'm retired! This guy sounded like he had a mouth full of crap or he just shot up heroin. Couldn't understand a thing he said on the voicemail. What a bunch of idiots.

I received the same messages as above with threats of showing up at my place of employment. This keeps happening every 2 to 3 years and it's annoying and I'm tired of being harassed by these folks. I'm irritated at the fact that they make threats and disrupt people's lives that work hard everyday to live a normal life. This needs to end these scammers are getting people information and just using it to their advantage it's a annoying situation.

I received the same message as above called them and I told them I am a card carrying member of the NRA so they better not come near my home or they will be shot on site.  Then she says she would inform the sheriff I am armed and dangerous!  Then she hung up the phone.
