Larry with "BT Corp" refused to give reason for call.  Was rude and abusive and made sexual comments.

Keeps calling for the owner of the company and hangs up when asked to take a message.

Bill w/BTI asked for the owner by name. We don't do business w/BTI, so I was suspicious about the call. Told him that I would page him, put him on hold & I came back on the line & told him that he was not in his office. I asked if I could take his name & number - he said "no I'll call back", I then asked what the call was in reference to, he stated "I'll call back", I asked a 3rd time - same reply, then, he hung up on me.

This number calls all of the time asking for owner.  Most of the time owner is not in and they don't leave msg - just hang up on me when I offer to take msg.  This time, I tried to screen call - Matt with a Todd something's office on Contracts.  Put him on hold.  Came back saying owner not interested and he called me a [***]!  I'd like to know where I can file a real complaint!

Called, asked for owner, would not leave message, said would only speak with owner, asked for owner's cell phone which I did not give. Annoying!

Folks from this number keep calling and asking for the boss by name.  Will not leave a message.

Same one or two guys call every time but its always the same. They want to speak to the owner and if the owner is not there they are rude and/or hang up on you no matter how polite you are to them. They even called my co-worker some nasty names just because she was doing her job by telling them that the owner wasn't interested!!!! Last time they called I gave them a few "choice" words then hung up on THEM!!! They tried calling back many times afterwards to get a word in I suppose but I simply hung up on them. IT FELT SO GOOD!!!!

I am receiving calls for the owner of my company, he had his name and confirmed our address. I said he was out of the office and i asked him who he was calling on behalf of? he said he was calling on behalf of Rod Davis who is a business consultant.

When he called he asked for the owner of the company by name.  When I asked for his name, he said Scott Hansen.  When I asked 'who are you with', he said Dan Druggan's or Duggan's office.  When I asked for the company's name, he said 'just Dan Druggan's office'.  He would not leave a message.

Same as above, asking for owner, will not leave message, just says 'This is Joe Woods, I'll call back'.  Good luck pal, my boss despises sales calls too and he's nastier than I am, hahaha!

Same asked for the owner but when i said not here, came with a some sort of stupid/messy/unbelievable story about how he needed to contact him as they had done business in the past and he needed to contact again (very polite, very nice), and requested the cell #.

I still smelled rotten fish, so when I denied it and asked for a message, very nicely (again) said he'd call back Monday.

After reading this and a few other threads on this number, I'll just ask him for a Pizza as soon as he calls in, let's see whose time is wasted the most this time  :-)

...or maybe I'll just keep "transferring" him around, just for the sake of it.   love the idea of annoying the annoyers.

Caller asked for owner by name.  She said her name was Mardy calling from Jim Wade.  I told her the owner was unavailable and when I asked to take a message she declined saying, "No, I'm on the computer.  I'll call him back."  I said Great! and hung up.

Obnoxious & RUDE guy called from BUSINESS TODAY (713) 568-6766 demanding to speak with our company president by his first name for a "business meeting". We screen calls here, as he is far too busy to entertain the volume of these types of calls flooding our offices. The fella gave his boss contact as LOU KARAM (847)312-5408 and continued to insist on a business meeting. I told him NO - remove our information from your calling database and not call us again.

TRAVIS called from BUSINESS TODAY (847) 312-5408 demanding to speak with our owner he gave his boss contact as LOU KARAM.  RUDE, NASTY.  I'll be SURE to give my boss the message ...

guy called looking for my boss by first name in the morning. boss wasn't in, he called back after lunch. Boss is in meeting with his co-ceo. Said he wanted to talk to him about a business meeting.

His caller ID is BUS. TODAY and local phone number (same city as my company) (727)474-4922

I offered to take down a message, he agreed. Message was to give Lou Karam a call at 847-312-5408 regarding a business meeting. I tried to press him for what type of business, because they didn't seem like our usual caller. He said they were an educational firm, called BTI industrial division.

The called identified himself as Lou Karam, and said he was calling on his bosses' behalf. His boss is Richard E, McDowell and he was giving a presentation on "Behind the Bosses Door"

Some lady called today from 727-474-4922 and did not introduce herself.  Asked for the owner and when I told her I was not the owner she wanted to know when he will be back.  I told her I didn't know.  She called again, the same day in the afternoon and asked for the owner again.  I asked where she was calling from.  She replied, "BT Corp".  I told her to please take us off their calling list and not call back as we have no business association with them at which point she replied, "You're not on a call list".   What I should have asked would be, "Then why do you keep calling us?"  Hopefully they'll stop.  But I doubt it.

I wear many a hat in our company - including phone answer-er. Lou Karim from Business Today Inc. just called me asking for my boss (by name) "only authorized to speak with boss"yet when told the boss is not in"  he didn't want VM and refused to give a hand message.  Only when I mentioned I was the boss's assistant did he try to butter me up.

Got his "DID"  847.312.5408 and  a Company name  -  I am have a high proficiency in googling - Sorry dude not getting past me...my bosses time is SUPER valuable and he trusts me not to waste it.

This company did the same to me, when I saw the strange name Lou and company BTI Contractors Div it looked like nothing I should call back.  Glad I googled the number and found this 847-312-5408. Lou wont be getting a call back from me

Same Caller ID = Bus. Today but with a different phone number = 7274744922. Did NOT pick up. Left same type of message looking for business owner. Definitely SPAM / SCAM.
