omg he called me too im so scared

This caller has called and hung up several times over the past few days. The last time this morning at 8:50. I have a 15 yr old and that seems to be a common factor  from reading all the posts

Called at close to 4 PM today, 6/14.  Showed up as "Unknown Name", and didn't leave a message on the recorder.  Being on the "Do Not Call" list doesn't stop trash calls like this. :(

Called 4 or 5 times last week during the day - was home this morning and answered. The caller asked for 'Rose's parents' ... I am 26 and haven't lived with my parents for 8 years! I just said they weren't here and the caller hung up, and hasn't tried again. Hopefully they'll stop calling now ...

I'm having the same problem. They called about some practice SAT thing to my dad and they haven't stopped calling since. A woman, not a man, has been calling though.

Came through as "unknown name" Don't answer those and caller didn't leave a message. Have a 10th grader that has taken the PSAT but has not registered with Collegeboard.com

Yes, Hes called my ouse repeatedly over the course of like, 2 months? I simply tell him my parents arent home, and he says he can try back later, and quickly hangs up. Its annoying, and it freaks me out.
My main concernes are:
1. How does he know my name
2. How does he have my number- He lives in Califonia for gods sake.
3. What des he want to talk to my parents for, or does he want?
4. That I'm not the only one who has these problems.

So, mabey lets work together? Lets see if we ca all find a common ground. Something thats simalar with all of us, you know?

called my house today. My little sister answered. My parents weren't home. I'm really scared he knows where I live.

got a call from this number this morning. Caller ID identified it as from Anaheim, CA. Didn't answer. Called the number back and got a recording that"all of our counselors are helping others at this time please leave your name and number so we can call you back..." i didn't leave anything. We are also on a national do not call list. so much for government intervention....

In third grade, I think I bought a sea monkey kit from them and they kept sending us junk in the mail and trying to bill us for it. Now, they've been calling me trying to get me to by some stupid scam about the SAT. Anyone else buy anything like that?

These jerks just call an hang up. If they keep calling and hanging up they're going to hear from my attorney and he'll sue their scrawny worthless [***]. what scum bag trash.

I get these too.  I've tracked it back to 'Free Financial College Planning Workshop' given by the school.  They sell your soel.

Caller had a Pittsburgh accent (I recognize it because that's where I grew up) and when I told her no thank you, she said sarcastically, "Yeah, well good luck."  Then hung up.  i figured it was a scam, but concerned me that she had my child's name and obviously knew she would be taking the PSAT soon.

I got a call with this number on Caller ID, I answered and no one would talk. I kept saying hello, and they wouldn't say anything so I finally hung up. I am on Do Not Call List.

I answered a call from this number several weeks ago. Was told my son had signed up for SAT information. When I told him my son has been home-schooled for the last 2 years his reply was, " my dear, he could have signed up on the internet". Trust me, signing up to take the SAT would be the last thing my son would do on the internet. I asked the caller to take my number off his calling list. Obviously that didn't happen; I've seen that number on my phone twice since then.

Have this number on my caller ID.  Have no children at home.

We've been receiving calls from this number with "unknown" instead of callers name. My son is also in 10th grade. We don't answer and there are no messages. I think it should be against the law for the school to sell or give out info on our children!

You do not need to involve police.  Most likely your child took a test at school then filled in a bubble that said "I would like more info about SAT".  Therefore the school gives the testing company your phone number because it is that companies job to HELP YOUR KID, as he did ask for more info/help.  It is not a scam at all and police should not be involved.

If you weren't a fraud you wouldn't have to worry about the police and you wouldn't have page after page of complaints on here.

Honest businesses don't need to have their "employees" come on this site and implore their victims not to call the police -- ONLY CROOKS LIKE YOU DO THAT.

Seen this number a few times on caller-ID.  Called them back today as I volunteer for a help organization for new moms and thought this may have been a new mom calling.  Got a message saying all "counselors" were busy, but to leave a detailed message.  I hung up.
