- jackWe moved to FL about a year and a half ago. Since then we've had lots of calls like this one, plus lots of telemarketers. We didn't really what to do about it since we never had calls like this in Chicago. Recently we bought a new Panasonic phone system, not sure what the model is but, after any call, you can save the number to your address book or to a blocked list. What a barrell of fun. We look forward to getting calls like this one so we can add it to the blocked calls list. When they call back you get a half-ring and then it goes dead. I still get to see who it was but it stops ringing. I can't imagine what it sounds like on their end because some will call back several times. Needless to say, we love our new phone system.

- atroutmanReceived a call from this number (a gentleman with a thick indian accent) saying that I received a free government grant for school. Then proceeded to tell me that I needed to pay a registration fee of $3.83. Told him I was not paying money to receive free money and to take me off the calling list and then hung up. Caller ID said Anaheim, CA.
- i'm fed up| 1 replyYest it is a scam!!! when these crooks from overseans (with a Pakistanese/East Indian Accent) do not phone about a Virus on the computer, they phone about Duct Cleaning Specials in the area. Beware!!! They have been phoning me for the last 4 years, using a different phone number every second week.

- Wendylou replies to i'm fed upYou are so right! For the number of duct cleaning calls we get, the whole city would have clean ducts by now! We have call block, so that helps! Today was about our computer, we told him we didn't have a problem with our computer, and if we did we would hear from Bell and had a few choice words for him and hung up! Get this, he had the balls to call back and ask why we hung up on him this time with a different phone number!!! LOL My husband said he was calling the cops, he hung up real quick. DO NOT GIVE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE BIG SCAM

- LizaReceived a call from this number this morning. No one answered. Showed as a payphone on display. I called back and it rang twice then sounded like a fax machine. I hope I do not receive any more calls from this person.
- DebGot a call from 714-535-7004, asking if a owned a computer with a certain number on it. Right away I knew that it was a hoax call. I said in a very stern voice that I knew who they were and that they were cons and that I am reporting them to the RCMP, Phone Busters and everyone else that handles these type of calls and hang the phone up.
- miloSome fellow with poor English on a crappy line trying to read a script about my computer needing help because it was running out of control and polluting the internet. What a crock, a company doing business from a payphone. I hung up soon into the pitch. I have to give them credit though; they were able to spoof the caller ID to make it appear that the call originated from a payphone in Southern California. Just when I thought that I had seen it all...

- CAMDOI'm french Canadian and this person from I don't know where is calling here once a week since one month with his really huge indian accent... I can't really manage as a second language.. I get really upset! I don't have any trouble with my computer. I asked them to call me back with french services... don't think they will do ;) I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one.. hoping nobody are wasting their time answering this call and giving personal information.. Is there anything we can do to stop that?
- unknown| 1 replyI DON't want this call anymore as I figure this is a scam. They kept calling me yesterday I don't remember how many times. I WANT THIS TO STOP. THANK YOU
- Alfalfa replies to unknownPosting anonymous rants isn't going to accomplish anything. Be proactive and do something about it. Either contact your telecommunications provider for assistance in blocking the calls or invest in a device which can be programmed to automatically reject unwanted calls.
- AndreaGot a phone call tonight from a man with an Indian accent. He said he was from petrescue.com. He wants to send a team of 85-100 people to search a 50 mile radius for our lost cat for $140. Me, nor my fiancé are stupid. When I went onto the actual website, it is a Florida based company that said scams have been made from predators preying on people from Craigslist that gave lost pet info. SCAM!
- Caller: pet rescue
- SPAM KILLERGot a call from some ho tell me my "windows" program on met computer sent out a catastrophic alert to these sleaze bags. Have had many of these calls. Usually blow an amplified whistle in to the phone so that I can cause them hearing damage. Today I played along like a senior and when the young ho lady thought she had me "hooked" she put on a man to close the deal. Strung him out for about a minute and when he asked me what my screen was saying after I pressed the Windows button and letter R on my computer I told him this - "It says that I'm supposed to hunt you down and beat you in to unconsciousness. Then I am to cut your head off and send it to your mother. After I said this the idiot was still asking me questions so I let it rip with such an offensive barrage of threats and swear words he couldn't get a word in. When I was done I blew my amplified whistle into the phone and hung up! HHHAHAAAHHAhhaha, you stupid pakies can go deaf after you deal with me you sleazy low life scammers . Why don't you losers get real jobs instead of annoying people and trying to rip them off. Anyone that falls for this POOR scam almost deserves to be ripped off!!!!! If after years of warnings, hearing what is obviously a scam on the phone, etc you still get taken by these cowards then I feel no pity for you! The only people I feel sorry for are seniors and that's why I've spent the money on the technology to be able to partially track these soon to be dead men! I can locate the source of the call to within approx 35 - 115 miles of where it originates. S this technology develops it will only get better and when it does I will be catching a flight to the country that these pukes call from and I will hunt them down and terminate every single one of these piles of [***]! The day is coming you [***] cowardly low lifes!!!!!!
- someone in Ottawa, CanadaWe got a call from 714-535-7004... No one answered and answering machine said good bye after I said Hello 3-4 times.
- Annoyed in Ewa BeachHave had calls all week at 6:15 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. from this number and several others--always the same guy (thick Indian/Middle Eastern accent) saying he was from Omnitech. Wanted to speak to my husband (called him by name). Told him my husband was not available; what did he want? Would not tell me, so told him not to call anymore, that our number is registered with the US Government "do not call" list. After continued calls, I finally just quit answering the phone. Have put in a complaint with BBB for Omnitech.
- Caller: Omnitech
- LillianaStarting the rounds in Florida. I did not answer, but caller left partial message on our answering machine. I could hear lots of background noise, then a heavily accented man saying "you have a serious virus, pick up the phone', then more background noise before disconnecting the call. I guess he thought we were screening.
Now I know this number is a heavy scammer. Thank you 800 notes!- Caller: caller ID said "Pay Phone"
