- Desai| 1 replyI got a call today from 714-535-7004 when I picked up there was a recorded message that played with American Accent saying this is from IRS & they had issued a warrant against me as I have not payed.......I called back this number and the line was coming busy.
I hope people find right way to earn their money instead of trying to trick people. - MJG replies to DesaiYou are NOT warned if a summons is coming. Also the IRS mails letters if there is a problem. Glad you were not scammed.
- juneanswered the call but no response
- Caller: pay phone
- JohnI got several calls from them with different area codes. They know their original voice with foreign accents will be recognized as a fake/fraud/spam calls, so they started using robotic voice to catch their prey. I got a message stating that I should not ignore their calls because they are from IRS and they will take legal actions against me if did not return their calls. I am an accountant who deals with REAL IRS all the time. This is a growing concerns for ordinary citizens. Billions of dollars of fraud is going on but no action has been taken against these crooks.
- Caller: Fake IRS
- Call type: Debt collector
- MombellsI received a voicemail from this number that there was a warrant out for my arrest for back taxes and I should call the number given to make arrangements for payment. SCAM
- Caller: Name not given
- Jiraffe| 1 replyCalled today after 12 noon; "pay phone" according to caller ID. Recorded voice states "this is the IRS & we have filed a lawsuit against you; please call the following number to avoid legal action." Then gave a different # to call than what showed on caller ID.
- Caller: PAY PHONE
- asdI got a call about an hour ago from the number 714-535-7004, my Caller ID tracked the call to Anaheim, CA, which is weird since I don't even live in the US or have any contact with anyone living there, and I got it on my mobile phone. I couldn't reply because I didn't have my phone close, but then I decided to google the phone number, I found quite strange receiving calls from a telephone number located in a country I don't have any links with.
Thanks for making this website, I'll be paying attention if I receive any other phone call from this number and will make sure to block the calls from this number directly with my carrier.- Caller: Unknown.
- norelkys blazekovicthey are leaving messages that I am getting sue by the IRS, is simply horrible and unacceptable. How can we stop them?
- JanGranI got a call last night from the number 714-535-7004 but was unable to answer the call as my phone was not close. I googled the number and tracked the call to Anaheim, CA, which is strange since I don't even live in the US nor do I have any contact with anyone living there. I found it quite strange receiving calls from a telephone number located in a country I don't have any links with.
Going through all comments on this web site I have now blocked this number making them unable to call me anymore.
Many thanks for making this web site. - MarilynI got a call from this # this morning and they said the irs has a lawsuit against us..it was a recording. Gave me a number to call back..but I didn't take the # down. I knew it was a hoax.

- LMLThis number called our business today at 1438 hours from this obviously spoofed number. Caller ID said "Pay Phone." I immediately assumed it was a scam artist at work. (Our small business gets calls from scam artists several times a week, sometime several times a day.) I did my usual 'trick' of picking up the phone but say nothing. For most auto-dialing, robo-message system, not speaking prevents the robo-message from triggering. After a few seconds I heard a "bloop" and then the call disconnected. If it was the "IRS scam" I kind of wish I had spoken because it's one of the few scams I've heard of but haven't yet experienced directly. Apparently a couple of different scams originate from this fake number: The Microsoft virus scam and the IRS scam. Even when these scam artist idiots know that you know it's a scam, they still don't stop calling and it doesn't do any good to report them because they're overseas and they use things like VOiP to hide their true phone numbers. I wish I had a device that would back-feed energy through the phone line and fry out their equipment.
- Caller: Scam artist
- KarenReceived a call this morning with "pay phone" as the caller ID. I picked it and a recorded message said that this was my last notice before being sued by the IRS. Said that I needed to call another number immediately. The IRS does not call (unless prior communication has been established) and certainly does not sue taxpayers, so I knew it was a scam. I did not take down the number they gave, but did call this number back. It rang for a while and then I got a fax tone. SCAM.
- Caller: PayPhone
- cdJust got a call @ 6:06pm from Pay Phone, like all the others I press talk and immediately press end, hopefully they will think it's a bad connection. Never answer calls I don't know. If I had been neat the base I would have taken the answer machine off on to answer and let it ring until they gave up.

- KatieI received a call from this number and they stated they were the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me.

- Lindareceived call from this number at 8:30 this AM. IT was a female recording from IRS stating they had tried to contact me several times and gave me a number to call before they took me to court. Since I used to work for the IRS, I knew it was a scam. Caller ID said it was from a pay phone.

- AlanI just got the IRS robocall myself. I called back from a line with no phone number (Google voice is great for this) and after 5+ rings got a fax tone. Tempting to rummage the basement for an old fax modem, hook it up, and start sending black pages, assuming it's a physical fax/printer answering and not another fax modem.
