They left a message saying I would be arrested at my home or work and to call their number. Sounded like an african woman. Obviously a scam.

Same thing here. Some woman with an accent left a vmail stating I would be "arrested" either at my place of work or home. Obviously a scam.

I got the same message they did "you will be arrested at your place of work and/or your home". WTF.

TO ALL ----It is a SCAM.  If you did owe money & have a problem, you would receive WRITTEN notice.  You would NOT be warned that someone was coming to serve you.

This Is scam! I sadly fell into their trap once and they just tried again. Don't fall for this!

Please do file reports with the FBI, your state attorney general and Department Of Justice,CFB,FTC & FCC..

Just received a message stating that I was going to be arrested at my home or work and if I wanted to call then I could.  WTH! I have no problem paying a debt if it is something that i overlooked.  However, what I do not like is someone leaving threats on my voicemail.  Send me a letter that i owe the bill, DO NOT threaten to arrest me.

Got a call today to with no name on voicemail. I called them back asked who they are and who they were calling for and they hung up on me lol! Scam bs

I just got the same stupid call.  I did call them back and threaten to turn over the recording to the local district of attorney here.  And told them that they might get arrested at their place of work or home and good luck to them.  LOL  Twerps.

I got a call from this number this morning.  I asked them to bring a shovel, as Philly is getting 3-6 inches of snow.
It is probably connected to a group of Indians (fron India) who call me once a year or so and threaten me with arrest, lawsuit, extreme tickling, etc.
The use angelized names that are close to someone famous, but are clearly from the sub continent.
I told one once I knew a lot of Sams, and a lot of Smiths but none with that type of accent.
I had one last year calling from an alledged law firm.
I happened to be online at the time and checked the ABA register of law firms and asked why theirs was not listed.
They finally got around to calling me again.
The F.B.I. knows about them, but as they are foreign nationals using a C.A. trunk line, little can be done.

Same message here, Indian, not African American! Female , I will be taking this recording to the police office and call them back from there! Lets see what they say then. I got hoodwinked by one of these people many many years ago.  All you have to do if ANY debt collector calls is ask for an authorization of the debt.  Always get their company name and phone number and address.  if they are legit they will give it to you because they do want to get paid.  if anyone ever asks you to pay a debt to a western union account which is usually what they do, they are a scam.

I had a real debt collector call once and since I was knowledgeable by that time, I knew what to ask for and they did follow up and I paid it.  They were a legitimate company and were able to prove it.  Do NOT let these terrible people scam you out of your hard earned money  no matter how confident they may sound.  not only that but it is VERY illegal to threaten a person to collect a debt.

Received voicemail message from female with accent.. said I would be arrested be security officer at work or my home.
