Got call from hungton group trying to get money from a debt i owe guy was rude so switch me over to legal team guy says i can work with u. I give him amount in he says sorry I can only do 100$ payments. If these people where real would they wanted work with me. Not try get more money out of me.

On the page right before this one there are several very informative posts regarding your situation.  Did you read any of them and try to get the information required to prevent these people from stealing money from you?

They call me repeatedly at home and work. I advised not to can my work they said they don't care. They call me names and harass me. I want no more contact with them by phone. They call me broke and a poor excuse for an individual.

Do not give this company ANY information about you. Do not even so much as confirm any information they think they have on you.

This company violates pretty much every part of the Fair Debt Collections Act. I recommend speaking with an attorney before taking their call and def DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY. They are currently trying to collect on a debt they do not have legal authority to collect on due to statues of limitations, in addition to a number of other reasons. So they will try to threaten you with extortion and black mail.

They portray themselves as some kind of legal office, but they will never allow you to speak to an attorney because no attorneys actually work there.

They will threaten to take you to court for fraud and accuse you of intentionally defaulting on your debt. These are all lies. They cannot do this to you.

Please beware and protect yourself.
