- Marie| 2 repliesFirstsource Advantage...they are a collection company. They are actually very nice and understanding. I was able to get an extra 3 weeks to pay on my past due Target Card bill that was sent to them. One of the nicest collection companies out there by far. They even let me settle for almost half the ammount I owed.

- Mad MotherWhat the heck!?! I'm also getting RUDE, unwanted calls and when I ask who they were, they hung up. It was 716-213-4578. It appears another call from 716-564-4905 also called. Since they are both 716 area codes and I know no one from the area code, I assume it's connected.

- Mark W| 1 replyI got a call from "FirstSource ADV" at this number, and the caller asked me if my name was [name], and then asked if my date of birth was [date] and if the last 4 digits of my SSN was [xxxx]. I asked why he was calling, and what this was about, and he refused to explain and instead he just kept asking, is that your information? When I said "no," he hung up.
I assume this was someone selling an identity-theft protection service or something like that. It's a scam, and they are scum.- Caller: FirstSource ADV
- NoBigDealI got a call from 716-213-4578, went straight to voice mail at Google Voice. Google Voice has proven to be a great weapon against losers like this, they get no chance to harass anyone and the only calls I ever get are the ones I want! Can't wait to see some whiner from First Source complain about how they can't harass/lie and bullsh*t people who have Google Voice!

- MR FED UPReceived calls from this number for over four months despite a request to remove our number from their call list. The straw that broke the camel's back, is that we received a call before 8:00 in the morning. I then called the number shown on caller ID and demanded to speak with a manager or supervisor. Of course the agent that answered said that he is trained to handle most customer related issues. But if he could not assist me then he would transfer me to manager/supervisor. I began explaining how fed up I am with this behavior and I want satisfactory resolve. For four months of calls asking for a person who does not live at my address, how the agent calls at least twice a day everyday, and says that our number will be removed from their call list. The agent then asked for phone number agent was calling. Turns out my number was "not in their database or on their server" and the name and number they have in their "database/server" was mistaken for California resident. And in the same breath he said that our number was "removed" from their calling list 3 months ago. So I asked him if our number was removed from your call list why are we receiving calls from you?, he asked are you sure it was us? Yes, the agent called me twice within the last five minutes and on the last call she said hi, and hung the phone up in my face he then apologized for everything and said that the calls would definitely stop. I then asked him for his name he gave it to me, I told him if we should receive any more calls from this number I want a name for reference. He said he understood. To wrap up our conversation: I verified with him our chat. He admitted on the phone that our number was removed from their call list over three months ago, he said that our number was not in their database/server for anyone owing a debt at our number. I responded for over three months your employee has been harassing us after having our phone number on your do not call list? He apologized again. And said he guaranteed we would no longer receive calls from them anymore. Also I revealed that the female agent was calling from three different numbers and that I have the numbers from caller ID. Good luck.

- Rainep62I just reamed into the rep from 716-213-4578 First Choice, got their address first PO BOX 628, Buffalo NY14240 phone# 1-866-697-4095. I advised them that 1) I was contacting the Attorney General, 2)sending them a notice to Cease Contact. I copied the letter that someone had posted below and am going to the post office now to send certified. The woman on the other end basically called me a liar and said I was the person they were calling....I told them to look up my bloody phone and see that I live at that phone# and have done for 11 yrs and not Elizabeth Rusack ?? not sure if that is spelled right. I am sick of these debit collectors calling for this woman.....I dont owe anyone a penny.....I am lucky enough to have good credit. Good luck everyone.

- Why can't you mail me a letter?| 1 replyI have been receiving calls from this company lately stating that they are representing a bank that I closed accounts with several years ago due to fraudulent activity. The bank never contacted me saying I owed them anything and now 11/2 years later this company is calling me asking me to send them money on this bank's behalf. I told them I am disputing the charges and they need to send me a letter indicating with the information they allegedly have from the bank. They will not send me a letter nor any information on this alleged debt. They said I can fax them a letter because they don't have any detailed information on the charges alleged by the bank other than the amount they are stating I owe. I find this unusual and don't trust any company that can't send me a letter on behalf of themselves and the company they are representing to verify the legitimacy of the claim.
- ~~| 2 repliesOk... its as simple as paying your bills... if its not you first source advantage LLC is looking for call back give the reference # say they don't live here/don't know this person. They ask for a first name to remove the #. Give them a first name and poof that's it. Until the company the debt is owed with pulls it from the office. Then you deal with the next company. But seriously don't want collectors calling -- manage your situations better and pay the bills.
- Randy SargentiThey have called on several occassions asking for information for another person. I have now requested, more than once, that they stop calling me!!!!
- CK in KY| 1 replyI sent my complaint to my Attorney General Jack Conway's office here in KY. Needless to say I will not vote for him in 2012!!!!!!!!!!!! The calls I am getting from this number are for an ex husband whom I divorced over 3 years ago and we had no debt at the time of the divorce. You'd think with an election year coming up in 2012 for our Attorney General that I'd get help. All I got was the same info that was on this site. Send a certified letter to them requesting they stop the calls. That would be good if I had the correct address. I don't think the cost of a certified letter should be necessary. If you want a return reciept for the cetified letter it cost even more money. What are they doing with my tax dollars when I ask them to spend a few on me?????????????

- James Hoffa replies to MarieSo how long have you worked at Firstsource Advantage? Is your family supportive of your lifestyle choice, I mean being a parasite on society has got be rather embarrassing for your family.
- Private Number| 1 replyFirst source advantage LLC - Debt collectors, very aggressive and will call your relatives or anyone else they can connect to you. The idea here is if you wont take their call they will embarrass you to all your people and make you angry so you pick up the next time you see they are calling which is going to be almost hourly.
Once they have you on the phone they are very good at bullying so they will attempt to get you to say or commit to something. You can consult an attorney but if you had money for lawyers then you probably wouldn't be getting debt collector calls. Some folks recommend sending a certified letter demanding they cease contacting you and also notifying your states attorney. Unfortunately our consumer protection laws are a joke written by the banking lobby and passed into law by a govt that is all about getting paid. Good luck, having these people calling is like catching fleas. I will say that they hate..... I repeat hate to be ignored, they would rather have you on the phone PO'd and swearing then not be able to get to you at all.............. just something to think about.- Caller: First source advantage LLC

Wow, I guess you probably tell handicapped people they just need to try harder............ seriously, how long have you been working in the debt collecting business? Only a tool who has been rationalizing his way thru life would have the ignorance to post something like that. Did you hear about the recession? And God forbide you get sick, but hey....... those people should just manage their money better........... wow, pray you dont get fired or catch a disease.............. Karma goes around.
