Call your bankruptcy lawyer and demand he get an injunction or court order from the bankruptcy court clerk and serve it on the collection agency. It is illegal to call someone while in bankruptcy or after.
Demand your lawyer take action or tell him you will file a complaint against him at the bar association for not doing his job.

It appears they are still at it.  I just got a call from them asking for a woman I have never heard of.  How stupid do these people think we are?

I really hope that's not your personal phone number you've stupidly published as a user name. I've asked Admin to redact your comment ... which again is NOT going to be read or understood by your callers. If you have a problem with FSA, you need to confront the agency *directly*. This has already been covered before ...

By "very early" are we talking before 08:00 in your time zone, an illegal act you can sue over?

Okay, thanks for the memo. Meanwhile the rest of us will avoid that website since it does not create a paper trail, just the way lawbreaking collectors like it. Don't come back here crying this summer that FSA denied your rights in your rush to pay unverified debt.

The federal Do-Not-Call registry exists to help enforce the Telemarketing Sales Rule. Please note the operative term ''marketing''. A debt collector is not a sales person and is therefore not covered. Here are the DNC service terms you were supposed to review at registration time:

National Do Not Call Registry Q&A

If you want a collection agency "stopped in its tracks", you have to set the traps and stop it yourself. That means learning your rights and using them, not just filing reports and waiting in vain for a rescue.

It's not that personal. The left and right hands are not on speaking terms in Mumbai.

My advice for "not me" cases hearing collection calls is found here:
