I received exactly the same message from a girl with Indian acccent. She asked me several questions one of which is my annual income to confirm if I am the legit person. I told her that I am currently unemployed and she asked if there is anybody, a relative or friend who might be able to pick-up the prize in my behalf (what has being unemployed got to do with claiming my prize???). When I searched for the address she had provided, this result came up. How did these people came up with my phone number, address and name?

Same call, same accent, same spiel..   I like how they give the most western sounding name for the Manager..  And you can hear all the boiler room chat in the background with all the other telemarketers in the room..  I heard shouting a few times...  must have been Hindi for "Fish ON!".

The only difference is I made an appointment for 5:30 tommorrow night..  I only hope I wasted five minutes of their time..

I got a call from these folks too - this time it was a guy named "Joe Valentino" (even though he sounded like he had an Asian accent).  Kept me on the phone for nearly 15 minutes, even though I was skeptical early on.  I hate having my time wasted, but I hope my long discussion with them means they'll spend less time preying on others.

I got the same call – they actually called back a couple of times because they were asking for Mrs. Smith   but I am common law so I always say that she is not here!  Anyway they kept calling me by the wrong name, then they asked the verification questions, one of them being are you over 27 (I am not) he was still willing to move forward (clearly I forgot to put my first name,  proper last name and indicated the wrong age on the ballot!!!)  
Just for the hell of it I stayed on the phone because I was interested to find out how they were going to try to “get me”. They said the same things – 1 of 60 winners I had won 1 of 5 prizes... from a 42" Plasma HD TV, to $1500.00 cash in CAD, and 3 variations of trips. I had filled out a ballot around Christmas time – he said that I would have to go to 6175 highway 7 in Woodbridge to pick my prize – anyway when the call was escalated and I could tell that they annoying hard sell was coming I ended the call.

I got the exact same call from a man with an indian accent and the name Nathan Bracken, employee NB229 and using the telephone number 905-754-5192 ext 229.  I was offered the exact same things and told that i filled out a ballot in December 2009 at a best buy or wallmart. I was to go to a location called the Ontario International Centre at 6175 Highway 7, Unit 6 in Woodbridge to claim the prizes and pick one.  I questioned over and over again and got the same speel.  I was told to bring my husband, (did not reveal I had one) and they said i had to bring a man with me cause my ballott was filled out as a couple. (first clue) - ballots are never filled out that way.  I asked him to tell me my address on the ballot, he said i did not put.  (most ballots you put contact info for prizes), anyway he put me through to his Senior Manager to get a prize code i had to use to get in.  Same thick accent, poor connection, almost sounded like same guy with a muffled voice.  At that point, I was bored of their speel, and hung up.  they called back immediately and I ignored.  What a load of crap.  Please don't fall for this.  Seemed possible at first because one does fill out ballots in stores near the holidays and may forget 8 months later.  BE WISE.  Remember that places like Walmart don't have contests in ballot boxes, and Best buys are ususally prizes from the store, not big holidays and money.

I got the same call tonight...this time the number was 905-552-2509 and the call back number I was given was 905 754 5163 x112. The Sr. Manager I was apparently talking to was a "Paul Stevens" ..Indian accent and I could also hear the chat in the background. Normally I would hang up the phone after telling them off but I wanted to hear what kind of stuff the were spewing for some reason.

It was the same info as above with the 42' plasma except I swear the "prize money" has gone down to $300 LOL!! Funny thing is the call was for my mom and even though I told them half\way through the rambling that I wasn't who they asked for they kept going on...I acted as if I was her confirming sarcastically that i am married and btwn that vague age bracket 27-65...hope this wasn't a bad thing even though it was done sarcastically...I don't think they understood I was mocking them.

I'm kind of glad I didn't hang up since according to the others they would have just called back. I made an appointment for tmw afternoon which I do not intend to show up for or tell my mom about. The address they are using this time however is 6175 Hwy 7 Unit 6 Woodbridge Ont...major intersection being Hwy 7 and 27 and their new company name is Grand Ontario Corporation...how original! I am supposed to speak with a lady named Linda Gilmore...I swear they find everyone's name, address and phone # in the phone book...along with their "names" too! SCAMMMMM!

Also I tried calling back the number they gave me after googling and finding this thread and tell them I was going to contact the police but of course the number was not in service/busy ..same thing with the number they called from.

I wish I had googled them while on the phone so I could've told them where to shove their prizes. :)

Just got a call from them.... called themselves Grand Ontario International at 6175 Highway 7 in Woodbridge, Ontario. Said they were a furniture company, but I had won a $1500 prize, furniture for either the bedroom, living room or dining room, a 42 inch LCD TV, an Alaskin cruise,  or another trip. Hard to hear , phone kept cutting in and out. Total Scam

They are still working their scam...

Just received a call today, missed his name, but the prizes were...

1.  $1500 cash
2.  17" Laptop
3.  7 Nights at a resort in Florida
4.  42" TV
5.  Furniture Set (my choice, dining room, living room or bedroom sets..)

They are still using the address 6175 Highway 7 in Woodbridge, and was transferred to the "Senior Manager", a guy named "Shawn David."

The call came in from (905) 597-4557 and they gave me a callback number of (289) 809-3472 Ext. 100.

Had an appointment for Tuesday at 6:00 which I have no intention of showing up for..  They must get enough people showing up to keep at it for so long...
