716-240-3374

Just got a call from a "consumer sensor" company (At least I think that's what he said?.They said my name had been pick from something I'd filled out, etc. etc. were offering 5 prizes if I went down to 216 Chrislea Road, 2nd. Floor suite 202, Woodbridge, ON.

I actually listened to the whole thing thinking, "This MUST be a scam.."but then he actually convinced me that I HAD perhaps won something. I agreed on an appointment and then immediately looked the address up on the internet.
Ya,o.k...  It's a scam..(too bad, I could use a new t.v.!)

Anyone looking for more info on this company just Google the address. Same blurb to everyone. Different phone # now...

Re:  Residence Telephone Number:  416 621 XXXX

I got a call today, Friday, January 23, 2009 at 10:38 a.m. from a telemarketer.  They said they were calling from CSA, or also known as Consumer Award Centre.  Affiliated with Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.

I kept asking to be put on their Do Not Contact list but he or she kept talking in a very thick accent and would not do as I asked.  I asked for their telephone number and they gave me this:  716-240-3374.  This is a spoofed telephone number.  They claim to be working out of Buffalo for a company in Woodbridge, Ontario, but the call is really coming from Canada.

I looked this number up on the internet and this is what I found:

I have put my number down on Canada's Do Not Call list last Fall 2008, recently updated to include my cell number as well.

Can you please ask them to remove my telephone number from their list?  I asked them 5 times to remove me and I was ignored.
