Middle eastern caller claiming to be a irs deputy

Yes..didnt get a middle eastern caller (cant really tell if someone is from the middle east unless you speak Farsi  ,Arabic, hebrew or any of the many languages from middle east..i did get a robotic call ,claiming to be IRS.threatening me in a round about way..rerouted call through N.Y...most likely from India or Pakistan..see arrests in Mumbai a few days ago..still at it...the elderly need to be warned as they are usually the ones that fall for this...the perpetrators should be hanged in public...

A new fake irs number. Get this all the time. The result is always the same, blocked.

Here is what the message said:
"This is the Internal Revenue Services, this is in reference to a criminal lawsuit filed against you. Your case number is CF-932171. The moment you receive this message I need you to return the call. This issue at hand is extremely time sensitive. The hotline to my desk is 716-271-0420. Repeat. Don't disregard this message to return this call now if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney then I wish you luck as this situation unfolds. ***SCAM***

IRS scam. Carrier is bandwidth .com, and they have a contact form for non-customers. Fill out the form and demand they contact the police/FBI to shut these scammers down.

IRS fraud this is about the 20th number I have blocked from them. Once I block one number they call from another. I'm getting frustrated with this. They need to arrest everyone.

This is the a scam. Claims to have "time sensitive" information that needs to be handled immediately.

I received a call from this same number from a man with a middle eastern accent claiming I committed tax fraud. And if I didn't pay $5,000 I was going to be sued in 2 hours in court. I didn't provide this person with any information of mines and I told them if I had a problem with the IRS I would go there myself. I hung up and tried to call back but the number is not registered and you can't call back. I'm reporting this to my local police station and giving him them the phone number. Plzzzzz everyone else do the same. If the IRS has an issue with you, they won't contact you over the phone like this.

I am so relieved to have found this on the internet. I am also glad that I did my homework before returning the call. I was frightened to death.

I got the exact same message as the person earlier including even down to the CF-93271 number and also the insinuation and although this is not an exact quote, but this is part of what made me suspicious is basically an attitude of God help you if you don't return my phone call. The IRS doesn't threaten; they don't need to. The only difference between my message and the message that the person earlier reported is that I was told to call area code 347-753-9913.

Other than the phone number, however, the message I was left was exactly identical to the one reported earlier, including the exact same case number.

What was really curious was that when I went to do a search to find out what the CF in the case numbers good for the rest of the number autofill without me even having to type it, which likewise made me suspicious, because case numbers are not used and then reused. Since this was the first time that I had ever typed CF, the remainder of the number should not have autofilled.

By the way, CF means criminal felony.

There’s a warrant out for my arrest! in USA no less!  Aaagh! What do I do?  Should I move to that country to face the charges? If I stay here I’ll die laughing!
