Called and said I have a con Ed account I do not have con Ed and tried to ask for more infor and he was very rude

I was in another room when I received the call and wasn't about to get up to see who it was. When I checked the phone about 3 minutes later, the CID read Skytel Paging.  So of course did a search of the number and it appears to be yet another one of these bogus energy related calls. I am on Long Island and we don't have ConEd. But I wouldn't be surprised if that was their gimmick.

It's now called "MPower Energy". Didn't answer it. I hate those damn companies.

The fact that they are calling areas that don't use ConEd shows how little these scam maggots know. Whats sad is that there is somebody that is bound to fall for their gimmick because they didn't pay attention to what was being said.

The maggots called again. This time they stayed on for about a minute after the answering machine started to record and all that was heard was the operators (con artists) in the background.

I've added myself to the National Do Not Call List specifically because of these guys. I filed a complaint today.

They keep calling me as well.  I told them politely yesterday to be removed from their call list.  I think these are the same guys who were formerly Skytel, Globus, etc.  This time my ID said "Out of Area." Last week, this number read as Skytel and a woman called about my Con Ed bill.  When I asked if she was a representative from Con Ed she changed her tune and said, "Um, no, um, we're calling about your Citibank account."  So I asked her, "So, which one is it?  Con Ed or Citibank?  Very different, don't you think?"  She hung up the phone.

Forgot to mention they said they were with "Empower" this time around.

Its been a couple of weeks since I received a call from the number. Originally they were listed as Skytel Paging. Now they are listed as Mpower  Energy.
This is a obvious scam if they are using ConEd as a part of their gimmick when calling areas not served by them.

Called on 5-31-2013 and didn't leave a message. Annoying.

Called 5/31/13 at 6:45 p.m.  I did not pick up and no message was left.  Caller ID read Mpower Energy.  Business call on a Friday night after 5 just didn't seem legit.  Glad I did not pick up.

Called me on my cell, when I answered they said nothing and hung up. Idiots!

Called me on my cell 10 mins ago state from Mpower energy.  Mention that they could lower my Con-ed supplying rate and ask me for my customer ID from con-ed.  Lucky that I don't have my bill with me so i cannot provide them.  He said he will call back tomorrow.

Called me everyday ever since last week. the first time. They left a message but it was all background music. I called back the second time and the lady picked up and I said I received a missed call from this number but I couldn't hear her clearly but she said something about speaking to the head of the family of the ConEd bill. I said he's not here and she said she'll call back another time. I thought we forgot to pay the bill or something but luckily I checked this site or else I would have been scammed.

next time he calls I am going to act like an crazy old man. Let's see his reaction.
