Requesting a carbon copy of this is BS.  Why take the time and once Aramex has your goods, you are screwed. Would you really trust a scammer to send you docs after the goods were shipped?  Please.

I wouldn't trust what PayPal told you for one second.  When the charge back comes, you will be out.

Again, Aramex is a shipping company providing a shop and ship service for its customers in the middle east. Many online websites ship only locally or to certain regions. By using shop and ship account through Aramex customers like myself ( expat in UAE) can purchase any item through ebay/Amazon etc. and provide a local us address (given to me by Aramex). After paying through my card or paypal the order gets shipped to ARAMEX ware house and then they forward it to me for an additional charge. The benefit of this to us is 1) I can buy items that are not shipped internationally.
I dont know if some sellers got scams/fraud through this, but I know that there are hundreds legitimate buyers using this.
YOU MUST PUT THE CODE WITH THE ADDRESS code is usually something like AUH1006 or KWI234 etc. This is the client number. If you miss putting the code then your shipment will not get delivered to the customer and will get stuck at the warehouse. This is way you might get it back reversed shipment because the ARAMEX warehouse cannot know the clietn without the code.

If you still dont feel happy shipping to these addresses JUST DONT. After all its the individual small sellers who complain. We are already using this with Amazon and Microsoft and apple etc. ASK THEM. Its called freight forwarding!

We also received an order from a person claiming this as his phone number 718-553-8740. Actually it's a web order. The address he mentioned was little fishy, so we had gone through checking process & we are unable to reach that number. Furthermore, we saw some threads about this number. Finally, we canceled it until payment gets settled.

As a merchant we have to do whatever it takes to keep ahead of the scumbags trying to rip us off. If it means cancelling an order that may or may not have been legit so be it. Why don't you have a real address? Do you sleep at the freight fowarders? When I have to start wondering...I cancel the order too...its just not worth it.

So what difference does that make? Lots of people are getting scammed out of there. They may be legit but apparently many of their customers are scammers. Easier to just not get involved.

This is a company that forwards packages overseas.  We have shipped over a 100 orders to them and had about 10 have comeback as fraud.  Take your chances....

I have a regular customer in Dubai who uses this Springfield Gardens, Aramex address as well. I have never received any phone calls from this particular number, but the address is legitimate and simply a way for people living in the middle east to shop in the US. I have a small online boutique, and the orders from this customer are usually large. I have never had any problems with chargebacks or disputes.

I'm sure there may be a variety of scams on ebay, but I don't think that has anything to do with this shipping option which is used by many customers. (I have a web-site, not an ebay store). Shipping overseas always comes with some risk, but it can also bring in a lot more business.

This is most interesting. I have been curious about this too as I receive a large amount of individual orders as an Amazon seller, for product to be sent to very similar addresses. Both 150th Avenue, Springfield Gardens, NY and Chillicothe Avenue, Aurora, OH. I have shipped these orders as Amazon absorbs any credit card fraud as long as the seller can provide proof of shipment. So far no problems with this method. I agree, if these sales were through my website I also would not ship for fear of charge-backs.

I received an ebay order for this address I checked this address and it seems to be associated with the some fraudulent activity out of this Arab -based company. I am uncomfortable selling this item since some eBay members have reported that this person has changed the name and address and PayPal address does not match. Also someone with the same address reports never receiving the item and also has change address slightly as well ... there's part of the address on the shipping addess that seems strange as well.They have not paid yet and canceled transaction. When you have a gut feeling, go with it.

this address bought a pair of shoes on ebay from me.  When I went to the post office they said they cant locate the address on their computer. When I googled the address I saw your message. Can you please let me know more information before I mistakenly report them to Ebay.

Guys what's wrong with u all? 1000's of ppl in Saudi/UAE/Qatar and across the Middle East are using Aramex address in NY. It's a carrier company as big as DHL and UPS that provides forward mail/shipments to the Middle East from American/European services.. I've been using it for years to get all my US mail and purchases!! Gosh! It's crazy how ppl are suspicious!
Now I know why a crazy seller canceled my order and gave up 9k $ worth of revenue just because he was shocked we spend this much on shopping with this address !!!

I don't question the legitimacy of Aramax.  But their customers could be fraudulent.  I just received an order worth of $3,000. and they use Aramax shipping + billing addresses + Aramax phone number.   They paid thru paypal.   The red flags were this guy was buying for resell for sure because he bought 50 of each items.  I am currently offering discounts on website.  If they were resellers they would have used the discount because even 10% discount means more money in their pocket, right?   Plus this guy paid by Paypal but their billing address is that of Aramax.  I am sure if they filed dispute with their bank, Paypal stepped in and took my money away.  I am sure his deafult billing address on his Paypal would be Doha, Qatar, too but in my store it shows New York, NY.   So there is no way I can prove to Paypal.  I would lose my case.

So I canceled the order. I dont want any chargeback.  I don't want anyone to take away my money + my goodies.

Not every man on this earth is good.  Of course, I would want $9K but I would not want to be scammed to lose $9K and also my products.

I am living in Saudi. Why I use Aramex.

1) the items are not available in Saudi.
2) the sellers do not ship to Saudi.
3) if the items are available in Saudi, it will be cheaper to buy from the U.S. and pay the forwarding charges than buying it from Saudi.
4) if the seller ships to Saudi, the charges will be more than if I pay for shipping to NY and + paying Aramex forwarding.

Example:

Last week, I ordered Lego dimensions for my kid. The game is not available here.  I can find it but it will be around $250 (I am guessing).
I ordered through Amazon for $99. Now, Amazon ships to Saudi for $40 and free U.S. Shipping. Aramex forwarding charges is around $25.

Few months ago, my kid wanted a (fart machine with a remote for joking with friends). I ordered from Germany but never received it. They shipped it regular mail. I emailed and they swore they send it. I let it pass Why?

I believe that they shipped it. A mail handler liked it and took it. That why a lot of stuff disappear. You can complain but it is gone, we do not know who took it if there was one at all. Get lost.

I only use regular mail for cheap stuff from China with eBay.

I ordered a Freddy five nights thirst from eBay for $11.66. After 2 months nothing came. The seller answer was wait. I emailed eBay they refunded my money. I got an email from the seller "I shipped if you receive pay". I received it 3 months and half after the order and paid him. Even Thus, it was a Chinese size. The 11-13 kid size fitted my other 5 years old kid.

The important thing:

I use my real mailing address and phone # in Saudi as my billing address.  I get few verifying calls but not from Amazon or EBay but a large U.S. Sporting goods. They knew all about Aramex.

The morals of the story.
1)The regular mail system in those parts of the world are not reliable (being nice).

2) there is cultural deference. In the U.S. If you receive something and do not pay it will bother you unless you are a bad person. In these part, if I can get for free why not. It is being smart.

3) Aramex address has noting to do with it. Try to verify the address and phone # with the credit card company. At lest with Aramex address, their record will show that they received it and to whom they delivered to. They suppose to only deliver to the name on account and no one else.
