This number called our business today at 1049 hours.  Caller ID said "Staten Is NY" which is clearly bull.  A guy with a heavy accent asked for the boss formally.  The boss didn't reply.  The number is apparently not actually from the U.S. because I twice blocked my caller info and tried to call it back.  Neither time did it connect with anything.  So, I think it's pretty clear that it's an overseas scam artist.

Got a call yesterday from <17185685080> to my business line (519 area code).  They baled on the call after 12 seconds - apparently the Klowns behind that number don't know how to navigate a corporate phone system, like pressing 0 to get reception.  An online lookup indicates the area code + prefix is located on Staten Island.  I'm now blocking all calls from 718-568-XXXX in my voip.ms call filter list.  I called the number back and got a bit of weird clicking and then someone with a chipmunk voice said:  "Please stay on the line.  Your call is very important to us.  You will be connected to the next available agent."  followed by classical piano music that sounded like a Thomas Edison recording.  I did not "stay on the line" - I hung up after about 10 seconds.  I expect they'll now try calling back, but those Klowns will get a quick disconnect if they do - and my phones won't ring.  Serenity now.

Just got a call from this number on business number (519 area code) and never said what area the call was coming from. There is lots of background noise so you know it's from a calling centre. Guy in heavy accent as for my boss. When I asked what it was in regards to he never answered and after about 30 seconds after my question  he hung up. Definitely some kind of scam.

Called and left a blank message. Usually receive scam and robocalls at this time of the day.

Business Line in BC, Canada. The Caller ID showed Unknown Name and 718-568-5080. When I answered, someone with a bad accent wanted to talk to "The Business Owner". I asked him what this was about, and he answered "Business Finance". I told him I was not interested,blew a whistle into the phone, told him 'DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN', and hung up on him.

called the business and asked for the owner. person goes hello can you hear me? they sound so dumbfounded. i can hear myself echoing in the background. i immediatly hung up after they asked for the owner because the area code is all the way across the US from me.

The man with the "thick accent" strikes again.  This is not a legitimate call.  Seems to be some type of mediocre data gathering calling center. He quickly hung up after vetting question number #3 (i.e. where are you calling from?).

same as above except when "munchkin" voice answered I stayed on hold over 5 minutes then they disconnected me

Called asked for the owner by name. I could here myself echo in the background. Blocked.

If you can't be bothered to leave a message, you call must be junk.  BLOCKED.....

I work for a 7-11 in california & i am inundated by calls from this number asking for my boss by name. They always hang up when i say nope. Don’t know what kind of scam they are running but this is definitely a scam.

Guy with a thick accent calling from a noisy call center, said he's with Synergy Finance about business financing. Obvious scam.

Same as stated above; heavy accent, asked for owner by name (who happens to be my husband), states calling about banking matters.

Pure harassment.
They've been calling every day for over a month, sometimes twice a day.
Usually say they represent "Bank Corp" or "Bancorp" and offer loans of money. Told hem numerous time to [***] to no avail. The number also keeps changing every day yet it,s always the same offers.

Had that today at my business where I work today in canada.  told him to take us off the list and never to bother calling again

Out of area call >>>>>>>instantly I will hang up and put on the block list . No one got time for a scammer .

Same experience as above. Three calls to our business line pitching some type of sketchy business loan. Sounded as if the call was being placed on some type of Soviet Cold War era phone system. Blocked.
