Got 2 calls.  First one was for 718-568-5080 in New York.NY.  Second one was +7 185685080 in Russia.  Hmmm.  Maybe that's where the thick heavy accent is from.  I screen my calls so not answering either call.

Telemarketer robocalling. Blocked the number.

No caller ID, male caller with heavy accent, lots of background noise (ie. call center).

They asked for the business owner, I told them they were unavailable, so they said they would call back. I asked what it was regarding, they said "Banking" and repeated they would call back before ending the call abruptly.

I could hear everything I was saying on their end, with a 2 second delay, so I would suspect the call was being relayed over seas, from the NY area code.

SCAM

Called from "Staten IS NY". He asked if he could speak to the business owner. Asked them who they were and what this was regarding, then informed him that the business owner was unavailable. He asked repeatedly, "Why are you wasting my time? Why are you wasting my time if he is unavailable?" then hung up.

Just had a call from this number saying from New York from a guy in heavy accent asking for the business owner. When I asked what it was regarding he said he was calling from Synergy Finance and asked to speak with him again. I told him we were not interested and during the call I could hear myself echo in the background. They have called previously but always hung up when I answered or didn't leave a message.

Total scam, blocked!
Asked for wrong person, echo in background, barely understandable guy, claimed to be from Synergy Finance.
And then after I said goodbye, no thanks, he called right back :(

People, don't answer the call if you don't recognize the phone number.   I am now getting 6 or 7 calls per day from numbers I don't recognize and every time I have answered one of these in the past, it has been a waste of time.   Most of them do not leave messages.   If it was legitimate and/or important, they would leave a message.    Don't waste your time with "Do Not Call Lists" - just don't answer!

Male caller asked for owner by first name.  Hung up immediately when I asked who was calling.  Lots of call center background noise.  SCAM SCAM SCAM.....a legit business would announce themselves,  CID only had the number listed twice.  I didn't bother to block them as they can call back and I'll waste their time again.

Called here as well, asked for the business owner, when I asked who was calling the man gave me his name (wasn't really paying attention) and said he was calling from Synergy Financial.  I got as far as We do not require business financing, have a great... and he hung up

We have a non-business private landline. In Canada. The number has never been associated with a business enterprise.

This number called our office and didn't leave a voicemail.  Next time you call in, you will got straight to voicemail or to our do not pick up list.

These Clowns have called me over 25 times. Typically the call ends as soon as I pick it up and a very louid annoying busy tone is in my ear. When I do try to converse with an actual person, they are hurried to speak rude, and hang up upon any question. I consider it total Harassment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This number caked and said they were social service and needed to speak about social security number possibly being used by wrong people .

Got a call to my place of work and caller asked for the CEO by name. There was tons of background noise and he had a heavy accent. When I asked ho was calling he hung up the phone.

asks to speak to the owner.  I reply not available and then hangs un HOW RUDE!!!!

total scam ... wants to speak to the business owner but has no idea who that is. told me two different company names. It was so loud where he was sounded like he was at a concert
