I called silver king vacuum company in CO, the receptionist said they do business with CNK Distributing but she was unaware of any market survey scam of calling phone numbers, giving demos (which we allowed) and giving phony info about redeeming $500 online shopping card. I then reported that my family will be filing a complaint with BBB, the Do Not Call List, and the state Attorney Generals office for consumer fraud. I asked for the president of Silver King Vacuum Co, whose name is Supposedly Fred Curry, at 800- 864-1658, and was on a conference call. I gave a phony name and real phone number, since they had that anyway from CNK market research, for a call back.  I would encourage you all to do the same to stop this scam and complete waste of time. Yes, it is a vacuum company posing as a market research company in order to sell their vacuums after over an hour of time with phone survey and live demo, with very nice man who probably doesn't even know about the scam. In Texas, consumers have very little rights so, again, BEWARE, and never allow this if anyone tries to solicit from you.

They called to take a survey. With that info they keep calling back. When I refused to talk with them , they kept calling back four times and hanging up on me. When I called them back they would not pick up, Such a scam.

For some reason they must be targeting Austin, TX.  So many comments here from fellow Austinites.

I am a writer and work from home and the calls are very distracting.

I get calls from this number every day .  I have them blocked but they keep calling and never leave a message so I do not trust them.  My system blocks anyone who calls and does not leave a message so they can call all they want.  Probably a computer calling.

Same trashy company. Did a survey regarding where we purchase most of our gasoline with a girl canvasing our neighbor with a promise of being entered in a drawing for free gasoline. Day later someone called and asked if some rep could come by the house and demo an air purification system and in return we would get a $300 gift certificate for something. All we had to do was listen to the pitch as we told the caller we had no interest in the product. So we scheduled the demo and the jerk never showed. The phone number is 719-258-1703 and no one ever answers...it will ring for hours. Dialed it numerous days with same no answer. These people are scum....do not waste your time

Got a call from this number indicating they had done a survey with me six months ago, and I had been selected to receive a  $300 gift certificate.  I just needed to be home with my husband to complete a short questionnaire to evaluate a product called Defender Air Cleaner  She said it would not take long, just needed to review the product. She said she had crew in my area that could be at my house in 30 min..  I got suspicious at this point and declined.

I am receiving repeated calls form 719-258-1704 on my cell phone.  I am on the do not call list and am filing a complaint about these calls

I entered a contest to win gas but all the calls I received were for an air filter system they wanted me to try out in my home.  They kept calling finally I answered and said I wasn't interested and to quit calling.  The girl was VERY RUDE.

My experience is similar to others posted. Answered a short phone survey for market research. Woman called a few weeks later and said I had won $300 on line shopping, driver would deliver the prize and info. Also said I could find them with BBB and name was S T Air, and the demo was for air purifier, Defender. I told her I would look up with BBB. Couldn't find anything under BBB for them. Then I googled the phone number and found these comments. Thank you. I will refuse entry.
