Same here I have no loans and no outstanding debt! I blocked the number that called! Scam all the way. .I called the local police department and they have this number that called and said it was a scam!

I get calls like this a few times a week sometimes everyday, theirs a guy named mike and then a girl called me when they guy called he left a voicemail each time and each time it had a stutter in the exact same spot. They numbers are fake and so are the other numbers they tell you to call.

Same exact message as above. No mention of who the call was for. I've gotten so many of these crappy scammy calls. Make it stop

I received the exact same message, thing is, I don't have my name on my voicemail and they still said that they had my name and SS#. I've never had any type of payday loan.  This is a scam and is actually laughable that people on here are saying they are legit!!  Get a life, get off your lazy behind and work for what you get!!  Karma really does come back to get you!!

Just received what sounds like a prerecorded message from someone named robin wright claiming to be investigating a case being 'downloaded' in my area, with my name and SS# attached to it. Yeah ok...

Got the same call just now. I thought it was bs.

this is a business phone and they called several times leaving amessage the lady said her name was investigator Robin Wright, she also called from 720-381-1628

I get these calls anywhere from 3-7 times a day. Please please please do nit fall for it. Even the people on this thread commenting that it is real....DO NOT BELIEVE IT! They have people posting for them. No Payday loan is going to call you with a "heads up" that they are going to prosecute you...they will file it and bring you to court, they are not going to let you buy out with an UNTRACEABLE DEBIT/CREDIT CARD...that is how they get you! Bank information leaves a trail and they don't want that if they want to rip you off. Ask for debt statements to be mailed thru USPS and don't give them your address. Be smarter than them. IT'S A SCAM!!

You are correct Pete, but they also have to follow the Fair Debt Collections Act.  Extorting money is illegal, strong arming is illegal.  Demanding money without providing proof in writing that it was owed is illegal.  When I started questioning them abourt who they were, asked for my information about money owed in writing, or told them that I could not pay before next Friday when I got paid again, they said I had one hour to Western Union them money or they would prosecute me.  That is extortion and it is illegal

I have gotten these calls from this # and several other #s, They all have the same message. I just spoke to the police and was told it is total scam. I deleted the numbers so I hope it will stop these calls.

Post dated checks for a payday loan are not covered under the bad check law, so that is false information.

My grandma got a call its a payday loan scam company telling elserly people to go to walmart and send cash via western union.Scam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Do not send these people money report them to the fdcpa and the attorney generals office this has to stop!!!!!!!!!!
