- CandyThis call in in on November 10th at 9:53am. Sounded like a live person who called but left no message except,,, You did not reveal yourself to be human,,, goodbye. Very annoying and disgusted with these type of calls.

- Candy replies to annoyed,| 1 replyI received the same message on November 10th at 9:53am. It could have been a recorded message but fed up with these type of calls. It looked like it came from Denver, CO. They should get a life instead of bothering other people.
- Candy replies to MJG| 1 replyThis should be reported. This call, I believe came from CO. No one should be calling and saying these words to someone!!! Fed up!!

- NebraskaGal| 1 replyI just received a phone call from 720-595-5294 and Caller ID showed Cell Phone CO. I never answer calls that I don't recognize or not expecting. I got the message that recorded after answering machine kicked in this call is for M*** L*** if this is the household of M*** L*** press 5 if this is not your household press 3. Then answering machine cut off. The other day it was my social security number was suspended and that call showed as Rosedale, MD. I am wondering if the uptake in this type of call over the last 3 or 4 days has anything to do with the hacking of our credit files at Equifax. I know they did not get into my credit card info just the general info which did include DOB, address, phone number, drivers license number, and social security number which is bad enough. But I cannot stress enough to my elderly parent, do not answer the phone unless it is me, my sister or brother and one of my brother's two children. Because the elderly panic and believe that the call is legit and once the information is given to the wrong hands, it is usually too late. I just made it a rule once I got the Caller ID to never answer phone unless I recognized the number and/or name. If not that is what answering machines are for or voice mail. Scary just the same, what is this call really about that someone would call shortly. Strange that the government has never really been able to stop the spoofing of phone number or stop the spam/scam artists. guess they have better things to do with their time than helping those they are supposed to protect. And the Do Not Call Registry does not help with the scam calls either.

- suzanneRobot caller asking if it's me press 3 and if not press 5, I hung up Caller ID says the call came from Colorado.
- WestcoastThis call may or may not have originated from Colorado. It could be a forwarded call or a magic jack call. Scammers use these types of calls all the time to hide their actual identity.

- David SPhone rang and when I answered a robovoice asked me to push 3 if this was the owner of the phone number and to push 5 if I wasn't. When I didn't do anything a separate voce said "you have not been identified as human, goodbye". This is probably a scammer trying to find if numbers are active or blocked. Do not push either button because it lets them know a real person answered and you will be flooded with robocalls.

- LasVegasHey, I want to know why we're not "not human" :-) Called after 8pm. No message. CID"Cell Phone CO".
- D RComputer call asked if this was X household. If yes press 5 if no press 3. Did not press any number. After a few seconds got computer voice that said I had not proved myself to be human then hung up.
- TS replies to M CI got the same exact thing from same number. Since was waiting for call from healthcare provider, I fell for it.
- Tom SReceived a call from 720-595-5294 asking to press 5 to confirm if this was the residence of Tom S. I clicked 5 as I was expecting a call from a medical facility. Was told that I would be called later with a personalized message.
- NASCalled both of my phones within 5 minutes of each other. Had my name. No clue as to how either phone is associated with the name they gave. The message was that someone would be calling with an important message. I blocked the number on both phones. SCAM!

- ManfredApparently somebody "researching" for non-profit telemarketers and/or debt-collection agencies who are interested in getting ahold of specific individuals by name. E.g. a fund-raising foundation for the college/university you attended. You took their calls and donated in the past but lately they've been unable to get ahold of you by phone. They hire this 3rd party entity who subscribes to web-based information brokers to find out who your relatives are and what other addresses and phone numbers are relevant to you and boils that down to potential alternative phone numbers to reach you by and uses an automated system to robo-storm those numbers to find out which might be good. I assume if you responded confirmative or even didn't respond at all, you later started getting calls at the same number(s) from the real tele-shysters who are behind the scheme in the first place, looking for the same named person. As for the origination number facilitation: The 720-595 exchange is assigned to Level 3. The 720-595-5xxx block is one of multiple blocks carved out for Verizon Wireless with legitimate circuit switching at that. Here I think Level 3 may have finagled a deal with VZW to have some of those numbers ported back to Level 3 VoIP and Level 3 assigns them to Level 3 VoIP subscribers so this number, being one of them, looks the the former but is really the latter. It's also possible it is/was really a Verizon Wireless line dedicated to an operation working for a single entity e.g. a college or university fundraising foundation. Anyway, I don't think anybody could pull off spoofing a Verizon Wireless number for that length of time.
