Gets pretty annoying answering or ignoring over 15 calls in less than 24 hours.  You shouldn't HAVE to ignore or hang up...

I don't particularly like the loopholes either. To be honest I have yet to receive a call from a charitable organization that I would consider honorable.

If you pick up a call, and you are told to press a number for any reason, hang up. When you press a number, you are put on the "chump" list, and you may end up getting more spam phone calls than you ever expected. The rule of thumb is this: If you check the caller ID, and you see a name and/or number you do not recognize, do not pick up the call. Simple.

NEVER send money to an unsolicited caller! There are plenty of places to donate, where you can KNOW who you're giving to. Local food banks, a needy neighbor....

They call about 2 times a day. They are wasting my minutes! I answer and phone hangs up, I call back request to be put on do not call list and yet they call every day after that. Can someone please shut down this number!

Calls my cell phone.  I have to answer all calls, as I am unemployed and applying everywhere.  The caller asks for Amy, when I politely reply that "you have the wrong number", she responds; "Oh, that's OK, maybe you can help me", and proceeds to go into her scripted demand for money for some illegitimate foundation.  I told her that her ploy was deceitful and I would NEVER donate to any organization that lies to further their greed.

Same call only asked for Catherine.

This number had called me over 20 times and when I tell them I do not want to be contacted again they just hand up ... I have called the number and hit 5 to not receive calls again I still get calls .. What else can be done ?

Didn't recognize the number, so didn't answer.  I am on the no-call list, and this appears to be a violation.

Called asking for a donation.

Asked for "head of household". Future calls from that # blocked.

Didn't answer, it was on my cellphone.

the number called my cell, asking for david? I told her never been a david here and she said, we can talk to either of you. I said no david, you have the wrong number. this was late last night. then she said have a great rest of your day mam.

As other people have posted, the initial call asked to speak with "Meriam" (I think), then when I said it was a wrong number, the voice  said "Oh, well maybe you can help me," and then started into a solicitation. The voice claimed it was Darlene Lewis calling for donations for women with breast cancer.  When I asked "Are you a real person", the response was that the caller was a live person, but using the computer to assist in communicating.  I don't believe that this was the case, but rather that this was a very sophisticated robo call with pre-programmed responses.  There was a toll-free number mentioned in one of the responses, but I didn't get it all (it ended with -7390).  This definitely smells like a phishing scam.

Called at 7pm Sunday night. What's the point of a Do Not Call List?????

Called at 6:00 PM. A woman asked for someone else, and I said she got the wrong number. She then said, "Okay no message, we'll just try back later", then hung up really quickly. She didn't even let me respond or ask questions. The woman didn't have an accent, but sounded like an older woman. I tried to call back but got a busy signal.

Just another con artist company trying to separate people from their wallet.
