I have seen a few other posts about debt collectors associated with Zales, but I don' remember any bank involved.  I'm thinking a DC is using a fake bank as way to "enhance" the scam?  Lend some credibility?

That could possibly be, but the poster stated with certainty that he/she knows it is that particular bank which makes me think it is trying to lend legitimacy to this scam.

They called me too. Yesterday, the same name associated with this number called me from a different number, and different state. This is getting very old.

I am getting nonstop calls from this number. When you call it back it asks you to type your entire credit card number in. Definitely a scam of some sort.

Again today. Started at 8:30am. It is two times a day every day since 7/24/16.  I reported it to the Do Not Call Registry yesterday and today.

It's a department store credit card type bank. Comenity Bank holds accounts with Zales, Lane Bryant, New York & Company, and a few others.

CSame here Debra!! I didn't answer, but called back. Comenity Bank.. Press one for.. Victoria Secret n ten other stores ; Press two for.. Belle, Pebbles n again abt ten other stores.. n it continued I heard all the stores in each prompt till abt #8.... so I hit prompt 1... are they serious??  I certainly hope that anybody that has a credit card, already is aware that most companies will NEVER ask for the primary WHOLE acct number n thru an automated system at that!
This was my first call, but reading all the above, I'm sure it won't be my last. I will also report it to DoNotCall Registry if it continues!
    SCAM...SCAM...SCAM!!!

This is a bank that the company Victoria Secrets or Punk uses. They are trying to collect on credit charges, and will call all contacts that were used when the individual aigned up for thei credit card. However, they will only speak to the holder of the account. Other companies may use this bank as well, but I only know of these two.

If you know all about this "bank" then why don't you tell us the name and address?  You must have it since you profess to be knowledgeable about it.
