Keeps calling me over and over with different numbers after BOA. If Bank of America really wanted my attention, they would call or email not text. Kept bugging my sister too and she doesn't even have a debit card.

Got several of these calls yesterday from different area codes every 5 minutes for a while.  Leave text messages telling me to call.  Urgent matter.  When I call I always get a recording.  Recording claims to be the Bank of America wanting me to give them my credit card number.  Do they think I am crazy?  

These calls started last week.  Then yesterday it started in the morning and went on all day till about 5:00 p.m.    My husband was getting the same text messages on his cell also yesterday.

It started again this morning.  

We have checked with our Debit card people and they said we do not have cards from Bank of America and we were wise not to give our card number to whom ever is calling.  It is probably a scam.

Same story. Is everyone here sprint? Do we have a similar area code (512)? Has anyone placed their phone number on a questionable website?

Josef - I do have sprint and am in the 512 area code.  don't recall putting my number on any websites recently.  but i do also use a google number that goes straight to my phone (also 512) and i can't tell if the texts are going to the google number or to my regular cell number.

Yup, have Sprint.  Have 9 txt's in 24 hrs from the same source (diff numbers of course)

As above reply.  Have Sprint - 512 area code and use Google to route my calls.

I have a 512-799-**** number as well and I keep getting these texts. I hate it.

Yes I have sprint in the same area code.  I've received two text messages yesterday and two this morning.  The email addresses are my54@infos.com and boa89@info3.com.  What can we do to stop these messages? Anytime I block one email another one pops up.

Getting the same message, started this week.  I called sprint and they are researching and calling me back next week.

Ana, can you block emails and phone numbers through your google phone? I also have a google number that's connect with my personal cell.

Yep, 512, Sprint and Papa Johns...

Called sprint to chat about this, and they said they've heard a number of complaints about this. They told me: "Don't reply to the messages, delete them, you won't be charged for them. We're working on getting this fixed today."

I recommend calling in and complaining just so that they actually get on it, but either way it sounds like Sprint is aware of it. Oh, just got another text, awesome.

Just got off the phone with Sprint.  They are going to block all spam text messages on with phone without additional cost to me.  I'll see if it works. Please call Sprint to assist with blocking the messages.

Same here, 512-799 phone number.  Wonder if its just our area code?

I received the same text...I wish there was away to keep our numbers private and cause these people that do this sort of thing a lot of trouble.

Same problem here.  I have Sprint and am in the Austin area.  Just recently signed up for Google Voice...wonder if there is some connection.  I also do not do business with BofA.  Suspect you do not want to text them back or they will know they have a live one.
