This is a Scam.  They call themselves Platinum Rewards and offer you a gift certifiacte to Walmart or a gas certificate.  I repeatedly asked how they got my information, and no one would answer me.  They just gave me the 727-235-6198 number and stated it was their customer service number.  When I called I was put on hold and told I was caller 3....every few minutes they would say I was caller 2 then 1 and all of a sudden I was caller 6.....no one ever answered.  Supposedly they are located in Clearwater FL, but I can't seem to find an address for them.  I called my credit card company and they suggested that I cancel my card because it sounded like it had been compromised.

I get A call from these guys every once in a while. But it is weird cus they know where I bank at they know the last digits of my ATM card  they know my address and everything! Can they take money out of my account without my authorization?

this number keeps calling my family memebers asking for me ...two of my family members just got new numbers and somehow they got the new numbers and wont stop bugging my family and has called them [***] and are rude to them and everything

They call all the time. Don't know who they r so i never answer. Annoying.

I'd change it immediately. Like yesterday.

Now these people are calling both my house and cell phone. I am sure this a scam, but even if it wasn't, how many times do you have to tell a company that you are not interested in their Walmart card!

They just called me and they were playing classical music, no voice of a real person!

Please don't accept calls from platinum rewards.  They are fake.  The girl actually called me stupid for not wanting her free gift. I called to complain to her supervisor and that's when I learned this isn't even a real call center as the guy who answered claimed to be her supervisor. He's stupid enough to think that I believe the super answers the incoming calls and doesn't have to be summoned for. Which tells me she got a fellow coworker to try to scam me.  It's a landline in st pets fl. I will report to all legit agencies and hope this will end their reign of terror.

I got a call from 727-235-6189 at 9:50 this morning .this # has called before. But today they tried over talking me and the guy was vry rude. I told him I don't have a credit card and to frutermore lose my cell#. they are anoying me and I want to Know how to make it stop.

they called at 12:21 pm.. i answered lady with a manly voice is this silva?? i said no "!. . 1. she was rude and second did not feel like talking to some weird number. she said NO ?? well ill call back when you decide to be silva and then i just hang up!!!

Annoying caller call almost everyday, just will not stop

Yes, just got this call at 12:16pm today. Didn't answer. No message left. So glad I read this page, because it tells me it was nobody important calling. Now I can label this number as - DO NOT ANSWER - as the contact name in my cell phone.

I have been getting calls from this number since February 2010. . Seems to go in cycles.  This week it has been on average 4 a day. It has been as much as 1 an hour in past.  Since it is a cel and my carrier doesn't offer a call block, I saved it with name of February Block.  When phone goes off, I can look and ignore.  Today is the first time they ever left a message and I believe it was an accident.  At least all that was said was what....what the "h**l, wha......f*** ......it's not goin through .....then a recorded voice came on ...You are not invited to this conference."   Then whatever conference provider it was disconnected as woman that placed call was cussing with a vengance.

Brittani from Platium Rewards called me yesterday asking to verify my 1st Name telling Me that I have been found elegible for an $80 Gasoline Card because a Business which I used my Visa Card had passed this information on to Platinum Rewards.  She told me the numbers in my Visa Card, which I had luckally changed 10 days ago.  I hung up on Brittani right then and there.


Brittani from Platinum Rewards called Me again this morning 7/30/2010 at 11:21am, again asking "Is this James?"  I then again asked "Who is this"?  and she repeated "Brittani" and I told her not to call me ever again.

I went online and GOOGLED the phone number 727-235-6198 and found

that Platinum Rewards.Net is indeed a SCAM which does exactly what Brittani had tried to do to Me.


I would like to have these People permanently barred from calling Me in the future.

I reported them by filing out a Complaint form at the Federal Communications website located at:

I have received 6 calls from them since yesterday. i never answer them but its very annoying .How can I get them to stop?

This caller has been told not to call me anymore and keeps calling saying it is about my Mastercard 727-235-6198
