A guy by the name of David Cooper with strong Indian accent called and left voicemail indicating he was with Cash Advance America. The number is out of St Petersburg, Fl.  He said I had been approved for a loan of which I did not apply for. Most importantly after some research this number is not from any reputable business with Cash Advance America. People beware!

Advance fee loan scam operation! Most of these particular calls are coming out of India and Pakistan.

Advance fee loans are illegal period and in some states, so are the payday loans.   Please be aware the scammers may also claim down the road that you have taken a loan and try to extort money from you that way as well!

I received a call from these scammers the guy sounds the same as they have described above. I was told I was approved for $5000.00. The guy called from 727-369-6894. When we spoke he sounded very suspicious. I told him that I've done research and he is a scam.

Erica Reyna is probably unaware her number is being used in deceit, so don't blame her. Instead of going to the police, immediately notify your bank of fraudulent charges and they can probably reverse the fees along with changing your account number. For future reference, DO NOT trust random callers, especially to where you fork over money and personal and financial information, that's what they're after. Sad to say but these crooks have no remorse or sympathy for personal difficulties, they're out to steal and cheat only. All apologies you had this happen and I wish you well getting your money back as well as tough times improving. This David Cooper is likely a joker overseas, spoofing Erica Reyna's number.
