I've received three this morning alone.  Every day when I get home from work, and while I'm at work evidently--answering machine has no messages.  They don't say anything, wait about a minute, then hang up.  Unnerving.

Don't answer this number, lots of calls every week

This number calls ringing my phone off the hook starting around 7 a.m. at least 10 times a day, 7 days a week for the past month! It's driving me CRAZY! My number is on the Do Not Call List, and I still get them. It's obviously a BS scam! I'm completely fed up and I wish there was a way to put an end to this.

I get calls from this number 3 and 4 times a day....and at night!  When I check my 'caller ID' and see that number I do not answer.  If I don't the person or number listed, I just don't answer.  I do have a Macy's account but it's been paid in full since last year.  How do you get them to stop?

I would like to share this with all of you about the above phone number.  We also were getting these calls several times a day everyday.  I tried hanging up, no answering, speaking to a supervisor, nothing worked.  However, last friday I decided to try a different tact, and answered the phone very politely.  The gentleman, when I could understand him,  told me my Macy's charge was passed due.  I told him it was not, and he again said it was.  I repeated that it wasn't, and he asked if I would like him to send me a statement showing that it was and I said yes, I certainly would.  He asked me for my address so he could do this, and I told him that if he knew my account was passed due,  then he must also have my address and I hung up.   Praise God, that was 4 (four) days ago, and they have not called once since then.  Try it, it might work for you.

I am getting this same number calling my cell multiple times a day. VERY frustrating.  Thinking about trying to find a way to block the number.  I wonder if that is a service provided by the cell phone provider.

Yes, it's Macy's, I'm 2 days late for the payment and they start to called.
5 years ago they let you go one month without pay and they just charge late payment on the next bill. Now with 2 days late they start to call, like a reminder. But I feel for those individuals that don't have Macy's account and keep receiving these calls. Make a complaint....it's not right.

it is macys collections someone gave your phone # on their credit app and has a card under your name or an ex used your phone #  but ill tell u this  someone better check your credit report  ...i was behind 1 month on macys card i answered the call it was legit...someone gave your phone # on an application  and is now behind in paying

I received the call 8 times yesterday.  Macy's makes sense.  My daughter got married last weekend and I forgot to pay, and paid it yesterday, so I don't know why they keep calling?  It was 3 days overdue.... what idiots!

start happening to me 2day....then he told me calm down,so I asked him who pay my [***] bills? And hung up on him

Send an email to the feds: fccinfo@fcc.gov. Don't post messages here, that wont get them to stop.

Out of the blue we started getting at the least 7 phones a day from this number. They called every 2 hours almost exactly. I never answered and I guess it makes them more persistent because, they call twice as much.  
 My next great idea because it is ticking me off, is to keep a whistle right by the phone and I will answer it when they call next time.I wait until somebody speaks and then blow that whistle as long and as hard as I can.
 I have never had a card with Macy's and you can bet I never will now!

yeah i have been receiving calls from this number daily all through the day.  I have a Macy's card, that is almost maxed out, but they email me when I need to make payments, and I have never given them any problems.  I can never answer though, because they always call me when I am at work or classes.  If I do answer I am going to demand they stop calling them or threaten to become physical unpleasant with them personally.  That has always worked in the past.

I also was late only 2 days, i totely fergot to make the payment and they started to cal.

I just started getting calls from this 727 #, and when I answer , they hardly speak english, it sounds like a man from the Indian region....W.T.F.!!!!!     And when I ask him who is he looking for he hesitated and stutters the name...
If this is from Macy's customer service......they need to hire compatent people...who SPEAK ENGLISH.

Evidently this is a collection bureau..

I received two calls on my land phone from this company, both on a Sunday after 6 p.m.  Thing is, I have never had a Macy's or Bloomingdale's credit card.  I never wait to answer the phone.  I am also on the "No Call List".

We receive several calls a day from this number.  We have caller ID, but after the 1st week of them calling I started to pick up the call.  No one is on the other end.  We do not have a Macy's charge as other's have mentioned. Very Annoying!
