- theblue1They just called for me at my mom's house. They are pulling records years old. It is CBT training that I browsed their website over two years ago. They did some lying to my parents about who they were. That pisses me off right away. If you guys(CBT) are trolling these posts, I am certified and have been in business for three years now so I dont need any of your services.

- Mr. Rob replies to Sheat HeadHi, I was just courious to know what online test you took.I was researching to see if they are fruads.I went to westwood.edu and took a practice test to see where I was at. The next day they called me and said that they saw I was interested in taking an ASE cerification online coarse. I told them I was and luckely I was paid late last week or I would have gone through with it. they are suppossed to call me today. I really do think they are but it would be nice to clearify that it is with more info personally. If you would please!!!! call me at 503-436-1609 I am trying to change careers and this isnt cool.Ya know.
- New OrleansWell my calls began last week. Since I don't typically answer my phone when I am at my desk, I did not speak to anyone. Noting that they did not leave a message, I felt it was not important. Just typed into google for kicks and got this.

"E-LEARNING" hope this helps! - Davinx| 2 repliesIf you've gone to their website and used their software to take any type of practice test and entered your phone number... It amazes me that some of you sound surprised that they are calling you to either 1) follow-up or 2) make a sale. That's just plain common sense people. Don't be so naive to enter your telephone number into a website and not expect some kind of call. If you were in sales and someone didn't answer... I'd bet you'd keep calling until you got ahold of someone regardless of whether or not you left a message.
I've been getting calls sometimes 4 or 5 times a day from this number... I've never answered because I didn't know who it was and it was getting so annoying because they never left a voice mail... So I finally looked up the number, clicked on this website link and found out who it was. I remember taking an online practice several months ago when I was thinking about making the career change over to IT.
So... Now I know who it is... So while I'm making this post... I called back and pushed "ZERO" to speak with an operator instead of someone in one of the departments listed on the answering service and asked to be removed me from their calling list.
She pulled up a program... asked me for my telephone number... and said, "Ok you're all set, your number has been removed from our calling list. Thank you."

h9ow can this be stopped - Jan replies to Peter| 2 repliesI signed up for the course almost two years ago. I thought I was going to have some time of work, but I didn't. I didn't have problems with the service the few times I logged on. What I've had problems with every since is the non-stop phone calls. Look I tried online training, for me it was like throwing money way. I would join any lawsuit that would stop them from calling me. I've learned to ignore the call, but once in a while I answer without looking... argh.
- Annoyed571Call me on my work phone everyday. Never leaves messages.
- pelleEThey reached Sweden tonight.....no introduction just asking for Michel
- Cameron replies to eg| 7 repliesThese people are relentless. I purchased one of their courses back when they were CBTDirect, and they have been hounding me ever since. That has been at least 5 years ago. I've told them I'm not interested and that all calls of this type need to go through purchasing, but seems they never get the message.
- Another call I don't wantI see that someone put a comment in that you should not be lazy and just call them after all you put your number in a web page and they are just trying to make sale calls.....well I did not do that. My employer uses a skillsoft product and I have had to register and take on-line training. It was my employer that gave them all my info. I only used a log in and took the stupid calss/test. So you may not be the one that sent your info in and yes, you can call and ask them to stop calling your home number. Also take up with your management the issue of how they got the info if you have used a skillsoft test/course or one like it.

....@cbtdirect.com - SethCBTDirect/Skillsoft has been calling me randomly every few months and once they start calling the call multiple time a day and don't stop for weeks and it starts all over again in few months. I have talk to them multiple tie and asked them to stop calling me, i made the mistake of giving my ph# to them 4yrs ago when i was looking to get some certs, till today i get these calls. Just last week i decided to pick up and [***] at them again for calling me and it looks like every time they hire a new sales guy they give them a list of numbers that have not bought anything from them to practice and if they can make a sale even better.
I am glad that i am not the only guy with this issue, I highly encourage everyone reading this post to file a complaint on www.Donotcall.com (https://www.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx)
Please contact me if any one files a lawsuit, I will do everything in my control to get this company down.- Caller: CBTDirect/Skillsoft
