I don't know how they get their info but they knew everything about my car.  I just told them I no longer owned it and they were fine and hung up.  Doubt they will call again.

I called them back, asked for a CSR and asked them to remove my # from their calling list. Took about 2 minutes but what a pain. I must get 8 to 10 calls per day from telemarketers, when you call each of them back it really starts to add up.

As others have said, it's the extended warranty scam.

I asked them why I should do business with a company who violates federal regulations.
They asked "what regulations"
I replied, the do not call list.
They hung up on me.

It is a scam ..   they are trying to get you to purchase an extended warranty but what you will get for your money is...NOTHING!!   Do not fall for it.  These people should be ashamed of themselves scamming money from some poor unexpecting people.  They will send you official looking documents saying your manufacturer's warranty is about to expire.  Don't fall for it.  I've had calls from so called "dealer services" and "Liberty Automotive"  There is no liberty automotive where I live, that is not where I bought my car from nor is it who my car is insured with.  These types of people are the WORST!! scum of the earth.  The next time they call tell them it is all over the internet and the better business bureau that they are a scam and to get a real job and stop trying to rip people off.

there's a difference between a telemarketer and a scam artist.   this is a SCAM!

They didn't honor it because it isn't a real company.  They are scam artists and will take your money if you'll give it to them and you'll get NOTHING in return.   These people need to do some jail time.

They just left a message with a reference number regarding my car and its extended warranty.

Just had a customer call me and report that a man from this company called and tried to sell him an extended warranty... this man also claimed to work here at my company and is a service advisor. However, our company does not solicit customers to purchase additional coverage after they have already purchased a vehicle, use high pressure sales tactics or do dishonest business. This company is calling our customers and claiming to be us, smearing our good name. Thankfully this customer called and I was able to let him know it wasn't us, but how many others have been called by Liberty Automotive/Dealer Services that will no longer do business here because they think we are a sleazy business and it was us who was calling? Makes me sick. They go after all the elderly customers hoping they don't have a computer to do their research and can scam them out of money! I tell all the elderly customers who call about these warranties to get some help researching before they buy anything and to pass this information to all their friends and family who mention irritating phone calls from warranty companies or junk mail.

These people called my mother multiple times about a car that is not owned by her. The voice mails include a different number call to back on and a reference code or something like that was hard to follow. The first time she answered a call and said that she doesn't own that car, they started asking her about what car she drives and the mileage on it. Lucky she didn't answer the mileage questions and asked why they wanted to know. They just said "I'll call you back" and hung up.
Now they still keep calling. If you see this number, ignore and block it. Just a bunch of scammers that want your money.

Calls are continuous; no message. It is either listed as Out of Area or Liberty Auto. Also am receiving multiple calls from 732-807-5611; this is listed LibertyAp.and is even more annoying! Coincidence---I don't think so! So, am blocking both.

Unwanted call from company that obviously is trying to solicit business. Do not trust these cold calls and do not answer calls from this number. enough is enough.. if no one wants to take your cal.. het the message

I hate it that everybody i do business with feels they have the right to sell my information to every sleaze-ball in the country.
Only two people have my name the way this sleaze-ball asked for me.

This number calls all the time! I'be requested many times to be removed from their call list! They are SCUM! They talk to you like you owe them something. Don't bother answering!

Someone at this number calls EVERY SINGLE DAY.  I see this as terroristic attacks.  If this does not cease I will proceed with legal action, like calling home land security.  I have talked with various people and tell them the truth, I purchased an extended warranty at time of purchase and I am no where near it's expiration.  A woman promised to remove me from their call system.  It lasted a couple of days last year and since the new year, they call every single business day. What are my legal options to stop this harassment?

Their address is 3430 Sunset Ave Ste 26 Ocean NJ 07712-3918.  I strongly recommend the police shut this place down, if not the police, HOME LAND SECURITY.  Please raid them and move forward with a class action law suit.  Terrorist on tying up the phone lines something legal must be done to stop them.  All of my polite request get me absolutely no relief form their calling all various hours of the business day.

I received a phone call to my home phone number today at 2:51 p.m. I answered the call, because I don't give my home number out, and we've been getting calls for the person that had this number before. The gentleman on the line told me he was calling from Liberty Protection for my warranty on my vehicle. I asked him where he got my home phone number from, and he told me they received it from me. I told him that I'm covered under my warranty through the dealership I purchased my vehicle from. He told me they sent me out a mailing to extend my warranty that I responded to, giving them my home phone number. I called him a liar, and a few other choice words. I told him I would NEVER respond to such garbage, and I DO NOT give my home number out to any companies. I told him my vehicle is only 2 years old, and I have a 10-year, 100,000 mile warranty on my vehicle through my dealership, so I don't have a reason to extend it through someone else. There's NO reason that I would ever respond to any mailings that I would receive, nor have I. I told him to take my number off their calling list, because it's registered with the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY. I told him if I receive another phone call from their company, I would be filing charges against them. It's bogus that these people get your phone number, and try to trick you into thinking you gave it to them. I'm very detail oriented, and I know what I do and don't do. I just hope someone else doesn't get sucked into the scams these people play. I just still want to know how they actually are getting my phone number with my name, because it's not even in my name, it's in my husband's name. It's not even the same home number we had when we purchased the vehicle. Very strange!!!
