    SUSPICIOUS
Same person called me and said she was with Sigma Technologies.  She was to send me her email info but can't seem to figure out how to send an email. I'm pretty sure I've received calls from her before.  The use of different company names is suspicious.

    Ditto.

The connection wasn't too good to begin with so I could barely make out what she was saying. I thought she was trying to extend my cellphone service a year (I have AT&T). All I really picked up on was "Contract" "1 year" "AT&T" and "Would you be interested?".

I said no and she hung up.

Damn... I'm glad I wasn't interested as AT&T usually uses your last 4 social security numbers to do anything. Probably wouldn't have thought anything about giving them all of them!

She MIGHT be a legit recruiter.
I'm in California, I got a 1year contract at a huge company from some recruiter in New Jersey. They had an office locally so I just filled out my paperwork here after I received my offer letter. Was awesome, didn't have to take a bunch of stupid tests. They just sent me to the interview and I got it :)
Anyway, I spoke to her and the job she's recruting for is real. At least in my case :)

Just received a voice mail from our friend, Preeti @ InfoTree Services regarding a job with Medtronic.  Who is person?  She speaks very softly and is not easy to understand and definitely has NO recruiting experience.  I'm not calling back.

Below is the letter I got after I refused to give my Social Security. It sounded too good to be true... $47 bucks an hour to do HTML work.

whitney g-actual recruiter at medtronic replies to Christy
    Hello,
Thank you for posting this information here. I am an ACTUAL corporate recruiter at Medtronic and had heard from several candidates in the last week or two that they had heard from someone in Michigan claiming to be representing Medtronic. They are NOT representing Medtronic and we are very disappointed to hear of this situation. Please be assured we will be looking into it.
All permanent positions that are open to external candidates can be found on www.medtronic.com/employment and will have a requisition # tied to them. No recruiter would have it "exclusively" and not have it posted on the website. (Only exceptions MAY be for executive level postings.)

I just received a call from her too.  She was very difficult to understand but I got the same spiel as Kaiser did - but the bells and alarms all went off once she asked for my SSAN - I said what sort of scam are you running I cannot give my number over the phone and you as a recruiter should know that.

I hung up and she called back on my cell and home phones

Don't mean to step on toes here but Infotree got me a job in this market from this same number a few months ago and it is going great.  The person that called me was Indian and hard to understand. They asked for some personal info and sent my name in.  After a few weeks I went in for an interview at AT&T and got the job.

The last 3 contracts I have been on happened the same way.  A call from a remote recruiter, an interview and a job.

They are contantly calling me about technical positions. They are very rude, pushy and hard to understand. I hang up on them and they just call back immediately after I hang up. I believe that are calling from India and representing themselves as being in the US. The caller id shows 1-734-446-7018 but with certain technologies you can blindly network a call to any location anywhere.

    Disapointed
I am getting calls from a different number but same exact emails as above.  The number that is calling is from 405-447-8337 & 405-708-6541 and 405-708-6538. Is this a Scam?  The people who post that they did comply and got a job did you check to see if anyone is using your information to enter the country? Credit report's? or any criminal history?   The two people who called me from this company spoke terrible english and were short and rude.  I have not had much experience with headhunters but is this what they do and is that how they sound?  If so WOW!!!!!
    The email is as follows:
