I just got a call from this Steven Martin character this morning. Scared me because of his threating demeanor. But he could not identify who he had called. I asked him to state the name of the person he needed because he actually called my work which is an apartment complex of 160 seniors. That worries me as well because some of them with dementia may fall into giving him their info. I hope he gets stopped! He called from 757-694-0276

Said I would go in front of Grand Jury or Magistrate. Said to call Steve Martin at another number(757) 694-0276. Total BS scam!

Same type of call I received threatening legal action never really stated they were IRS, but I knew it was an IRS scam call from Jamaica.

I have had two phone calls about contacting a man stating  that I call 757-694-0276. The man said that I must cooperate or I would be taken to court and prosecuted.  He does not ask for anyone by name nor does he say who he wants to talk to.  He does not say who he represents either. These calls must be bogus and scams or telemarketers.  I take care of my mother since she had a stroke. These calls were upsetting to her. I told her to relax. At the moment I live with my mother in Cerritos, California. My mother is on the do not call list. How do I get rid of this person?

a voice mail was left on my phone so I called back to see what the Pakistani would say.  He said He was a Federal compliance agent & I have been charged with tax evasion from 2010 & I would have to go before magistrate if I didn't pay up now. If I refused, a federal agent would show up at my door in 45 minutes to arrest me.  Told him he was full of crap & it was a federal crime to impersonate a federal agent.

someone keeps calling saying they are from the Treasury Dept and saying if we do not respond, a magistrate will consider it a deliberate attempt to avoid prosecution for a criminal offense.
If real, we would have someone at our doorstep not phone calls.

Same recorded fraud scam call from foreign heavy accented 'Steve Martin - not the comedian' with the same wording as described by Jenny above.  Ignore these nuisance rip off artists who prey on gullible senior and other Americans.

The real US Treasury should be going after these criminals

Exactly the same call.  "Steve Martin" is still making these calls as of 9/15/15.

I played along, then told him that I was recording it and that I was with the FBI and that the call was traced to his location and to wait for federal agents. He couldn't get off the phone quick enough.

I have tried to block this caller before and I am getting calls from a different # now.  It is bogus!

not from 7576940276 anymore as I pranked them sooooo many times today they tossed that # away lol.  Annoying them and wasting their time is only thing we can do about it!!!!!! It will never stop unless our president takes action which this isn't a war so that'll never happen.  I just use fake caller id app, buy 50 mins for $4 & prank them 50 times and it stops.

are you the guy called me after they gave you my phone # after I pissed them off?  They keep giving my # out saying call this guy.  Retired fed.....is there any way to get them in real trouble for this?

got 3 calls with threat of "IRS enforcement" action - obviously a scam.  Nothing ever came in the mail, so no action is happening

Text message from 1-833-757-1996 on an Amazon sale, to call this number "1-877-694-0276 if I needed assistance! - No Reply" I got a reply for ya!
