Multiple texts regarding debt payment for Milestone Master Card from Bank of Missouri…never heard of them!!

Debt collector for Destiny Mastercard..originated by First Electronic Bank..never had any credit card by any of these names..saying I owe money.

I received a text message from Spring Oaks Capital,LLC that I could settle a debt for $155.00 for my Indigo Mastercard. I have never had a Indigo card. I emailed them to send send info on alleged debt but the response was asking for personal information. I emailed back telling them I had no debt with them and to cease and desist with all means of communication. I received another text today. So I contacted my attorney. We will see where it goes from there. It's more than likely as scam.

Rec'vd text from Spring Oaks Capital, LLC regarding Indigo MC debt---which I have never heard of and do not own.  I got the same text as user ID RT except the company wanted to have $92.74 mo/payments for 6 months.

Same here. No debt so don't know why they want me to set up a repayment plan.

Easily solved.

You will need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation (by law they have to go back to the original creditor to prove you owe the debt), cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (this will be the best money that you have ever invested).  Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it.  Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter.  You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to.  Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment.  If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt, and we would all be the richer for it.  Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front):

It is incumbent upon them under the law to prove that the debt exists and that you owe it, and (this is the important part) that they have the legal right to collect it. You are not obligated under the law to prove that you don’t owe or that it is paid.

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter, email, or text (postmarked in the case of a letter) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. Unless they have communicated it to you verbally at the beginning of your conversation. It also must contain the “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this communication must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified. If and when you get that communication you should immediately send that debt validation letter by certified, return receipt mail.

I, too, have received the text messages and do NOT have any credit card debt. This is a scam

Got a text similar to many posted here that I owed them but have never have applied or gotten an indigo card ever it is a scam

Debt collection scam for credit card that I have never had.

I just got a text message from this number today for debt collection for an Indigo Mastercard that I have never heard of or opened.  They stated they are willing to accept $435.00 to resolve my debt for the Indigo Mastercard account originated by Celtic Bank, which his now owned by Spring Oaks Capital SPV, LLC, for less than the full balance.  Seeing all these posts, I see now that this is a scam.  Just adding myself to the apparently growing list of consumers getting scammed by this.

Forward unwanted spam/scam texts to 7726 (SPAM) and let your phone service provider deal with them.
That number was set up by the phone companies to combat spam texts and they can shutdown offending phone numbers.
Never reply with "STOP", scammers will not honor the request (they have no honor to begin with) and it only verifies that they have texted to a valid number and a person who reads their texts.  It will not STOP the texts and may actually make them more frequent.
Never click on a link in such a text as it may cause malware to be inserted on your phone, and even if it does not, just as with replying "STOP" the scammers will know they reached a valid number.
Do not repost any links included in the text message to public sites such as this one.
