- gregi think what some of the posters said is right- its a pitch to hear about a time share. they give you a hard sell, make it sound great, and you can accept of decline. i've been to one of them (not at the resort but at a place, i think, in fairfax VA or somewhere), and my girlfriend at the time almost bought it. i've heard from at least one person that i know well that you go to the meeting, decline the pitch and still get 2 or 3 nights there for free. they called me twice today, didnt answer cuz i didnt know who it was. fouund the # here when i googled it.
so, if you can handle being pitched a vacation package for an hour or 2, it might be worth a shot.
i called back, btw, and tried to hold for the 'operator'. the operator never got on the line. couldnt even enter a mailbox # to leave a message.- Caller: some resort company
- LPWe received this ohone call tonight saying that we won some gifts. They left a message saying that they would be calling back and they did. When I answered the phone the lady explained that I won some gifts including a vacation to a condo/resort and to Orlando, FL. She then insisted that my husband be on the line. I told her that he was there and she was on speaker phone. She wanted to be off speaker phone and insisted that we 3-way call my husbands phone. I told her his phone was not working at the moment and she told me to ask a neighbor to borrow their phone...what was the point to this?? My husband said no we weren't going to do that because this was a scam and he hung up.

- Donna, Camp Hill, PAHi all. These people have called my house today a total of four times. The come up as Vac Vil Resort. Interestingly enough, all calls came in between 4 and 7 pm. I do not answer the phone for callers I do not know. They do not leave a message. (I do not care :)
Judging from what I have seen, these people have been in the scam business for a few years. I guess it's my turn now :)
Interesting...it is now 8:21 pm and they NOW calling again....they do not leave a message. I'm gonna see how to block this number....
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!- Caller: VAC VIL RESORT

- Donna (again)Well, they CALLED AGAIN AT 9:50 pm last night....and I called them BACK and left a message that we were on the no call registry and to please not call again.
So how long did that last?
UNTIL THIS EVENING....and they called AGAIN....and then AGAIN....AT 9:30 these scam artists called again....and I would not give them time to talk....
I simply said the following: YOU HAVE CALLED THIS HOUSE ABOUT 8 TIMES IN THE PAST 24 HOURS....WE ARE ON THE NO CALL LIST...(At this point the guy is still addressing me as Mrs. .... and keeps trying to talk to me). I repeated emphatically.....DO NOT CALL THIS HOUSE AGAIN and hung up.
So far, so good...and it's been a whole 38 minutes :)- Caller: VAC VIL RESORTS (SCAM!!!!!!!)

- 8765ptJust got a call from them today at 5:30 PM. They called me Leslie (which is not my name) so I told them they have the wrong number and hung up. They called right back so i let it roll to voicemail.
They left a message for Leslie saying that she filled out an entry form at Chicken Basket (don't know what that is and have never been there) and she won $125 and some other prizes and that they will call back in an hour to discuss the details.
They just called again and i let it go to VM but this time they didn't leave a message.
I wish I knew who Leslie was and why she gave out my number so I can "thank her" for getting me involved with these morons.- Caller: Unknown
- shontahamiltonI got SEVERAL phone calls this week. I went out and returned home at 9 pm. I had 7 missed phone calls from these people. They called again at 9:30 telling me about how I signed up at Speed Street in Charlotte NC (which I did), blah, blah, blah. They needed my husband to finish getting me set up for my 2N/3D trip. I told her he wasn't home. Then the line was momentarily disconnected. She said she could call him 3 way and I told her he was at work. The line goes dead again and I hung up. She calls back and my husband answers saying to never call again.
I never gave her a chance to ask for money because I knew it was a scam.- Caller: Vac Vil Resort
- Terry AllenGot a call from them last week. I filled out a form at Subway to win a mustang, and they called me about a vacation in the mountains. We went up Saturday night and stayed until Monday. It's a nice place. They took us on a tour of the resort, lasted about two hours. In return for that, they gave us a $200 Visa card. $75 of that was the deposit we had to put up. Plus we got a disney trip. They have a water park that the kids loved. All in all it was a nice getaway. I recommend.

- teejay| 1 replyGot the same call. If the people who say they went there and had a great time and all that really did go there and gave up the $75 over the phone, then why are they on this page looking up the number to see where it is coming from? Why would a satisfied customer look up the number of a legitimate company that they trusted enough to give their credit card number to? That makes no sense and is proof that the positive messages are plants by the scammers.

- Robert ZieglerRepeated calls from this VERY persistant caller tryiing to sell me
a trip!! I am very agitated !! - AlinaJust answered this call after reading the posts. Called three times on a Sunday with the last call at 9:50pm. Told the sales person that I did not fill out a form and that as a person, she must understand how disturbing it is to receive a call this late. Unacceptable business practices!
