- ADAThis number called saying that I won something from a form I filled out at Applebee's. They have called 4 times since 6:00pm-I thought I would return the call. I did and there was a general voicemail about Massanutten which I have not filled anything out from them. I believe to be a scam as it seems to follow the trend of several other posts. I have blocked them so hopefully will not hear from them again.
- Caller: Massanutten
- annoyedA woman called me from this number saying that my wife (in not married) filled out a contest form at a Dennys and that she won! Then she asks me to put my wife on the line with us so that we can all go over what we've won. When I said she wasn't home the woman told me "im sure she has a cell phone, call her on 3 way so we can talk with her". when I said that my "wife" doesn't own a slcell phone , the woman said that she would try back later. As if that would change the fact that I'm not married...
- Caller: would not say

- JessicaJust completed the massanutten resort timeshare tour. I received the gifts I was promised , $150 gift card and a 4 day 3 night stay in Orlando Florida voucher , not sure how legit the voucher is or what's involved with booking a vacation with these things. Any one tried to use the vouchers yet?
- D.C| 1 replyTo simply put it, they try to sell you timeshare. I got the call set up the appointment and left the deposit to go tho I felt it was pretty sketch at first but just went for it. Got the money back like they promised and also the free vacations. You go through a few hrs of them talking your brains out and then them trying to sell you a timeshare. You can either buy or not...either way in the end you'll get your prize. Hope this helps.
- JOHN KCalled and said I won a vacation to Massanutten resort...from a form I entered at a Wendy's (form had Wendy' contest on it-- at a Wendy's in VA.)
---Bottom line -- they tell you great news-- but you have to commit to a date and PAY a $75 deposit now. Will not give you documentation to support in advance of payment..obviously a Scam-- So what is Wendy's doing about it.?- Caller: not identified
- DSThe co. is Great Eastern Resort Corp. They called me 5 times in one day and I told them to take my ph# out. The calls quit for 4 days then started again and the last one was at 10:08 pm. The form you fill out clearly says they can't call you after 10:00 pm. So I filed a complaint with the BBB. They got my number because we filled out a form at a festival. So I understand them calling but when you tell them to quit calling and they keep calling you and also call after 10:00 pm, that is just ridiculous.

- amy replies to luke| 13 repliesthis is not a scam. the only reason I received a call is because I filled out an entry form. my husband and I took advantage of the complementary vacation and received $200 on a visa gift card. Well worth the 2hour sales pitch! just say no. end of story. and if you don't want to be contacted, stop giving your phone number, email, address, and income information to strangers for something free and then complain when they call you
- Obviously another shill.. replies to amy....for this scam. People are receiving calls even when they did NOT fill out anything. Stupid shill.
If you "win" something, you do NOT have to pay anything!
Its ILLEGAL to ask for money to receive it.

Care to share a valid and verifiable business name & address? You should have it since you took the cruise etc. after all you paid them to get your free cruise.. shouldn't be a problem to provide the information on this so great company..
By the way, do you always reply to posts over 5 years old? - MidNYteStorm replies to amyThe fact that this telemaggoter is violating the DNCR, I am not about to trust you at your word.
- Pudge replies to amy| 8 repliesAmy baby, what's going on? You're replying to a 5 YEAR OLD post??? Business must be bad in the "scam you out of your money" field. Why not get a real job that you can be proud of instead of stealing from the unsuspecting?
Just for my own information, how much do you get paid to scour the internet for posts that disable your theft ring? Just curious. - MidNYteStorm replies to Pudge| 7 repliesMaybe they offer trips to Pluto. I understand it is beautiful at this time of year.
- Pudge replies to BJAlthough this post is a little old, It begs the question "how much do you get paid to post this bulls$it?
- Pudge replies to D.CDon't believe you.

- MidNYteStorm replies to MzFish| 5 repliesAll kidding aside I grew watching the original as a kid.
- BigA replies to MidNYteStormde plane! de plane!
- ANonieMouse replies to MidNYteStorm| 3 repliesYou used to watch it, but I used to *visit* on a regular basis.
"The house with the bell tower, where Tattoo rings the bell, is the Queen Anne Cottage, located in the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanic Garden in Arcadia. The plane, 'arriving' with the guests, was filmed in the lagoon behind the Queen Anne Cottage. Sometimes, outdoor scenes were filmed at the Arboretum."

I imagine they had to wait long periods of time for the wind to blow from the desert rather than the valley to get smog-free shots that included the nearby mountains.
Never saw Tattoo, but I did see Ricardo Montalbán at least once at a live performance not too far from there. Had nothing to do with Fantasy Island, though -- it was a serious play. - BigA replies to ANonieMouse| 1 replyIt wasn't a play about "rich Corinthian leather" was it?
