I've now gotten several calls from this number, usually one per day. I, unlike most others that have left comments, do have a few debts; however, after reading what so many other people have written, I'm beginning to wonder if this one is for real or if It's some sort of scam. Thanks everybody.

Just because you live in canada doesn't mean they can't call you my mistake, geesh do a google on the number and it will tell you.  I don't have any either and they started calling me.

Keeps calling over and over but never leaving a message

This is the first time they've called.  We've had this number about 2 months and haven't given it out to anyone.  When I answered I could hear typing then they hung up.

They will contact anyone that shares the same name as the subject who has outstanding debt. I even threatened bomb implosion at their facility in Virginia BUT they continue to call me to collect outstanding debt.

I get daily calls from these people, and they call about an average of 3 or 4 times an hour every day.  Their return ID lists them as 'ReceivablesPerf'. They are extremely rude and terribly demeaning to me. They refuse to talk to me and insist on talking to my husband.  When I say he isn't home, they refuse to leave a message and just insist that my husband call them, but they won't give me the number he should call or the name of the person he should be speaking to.  They say, "Just tell him to call!", and then they hang up.  The thing is, I find it suspicious if these are bill collectors because neither my husband nor I have any outstanding debt right now (other than our mortgage, but we always keep that paid up at least 1 month ahead).  So why they are calling us is a real mystery to me.  It has "scam" written all over it.

I got a Hello out of them yesterday and then the line went dead. I want to sue these [***] for the continuous aggravation . They call a line that we have to pay for each call that calls it and it rolls over to a cell phone that also charges us for each call . If I could send a virus to that phone caller..I certainly WOULD because they are a daily virus to me

This is a FAKE DEBT COLLECTOR that goes by the name RPM. They call from several different phone numbers. Do not answer them. Do not call them back. Trust me, they will call you again and again, you do not owe them a single penny, they will not even ask for you by name, and asking them to stop will not stop them from calling back.

Ever since I got this new mobile plan with Verizon a couple of months ago, now I'm starting to get these damn calls. They call, hang up, and don't leave a message. I already blocked their other two numbers but this is the first time I got a call from this number. When I was with T-Mobile, I never received any calls like these.

You have to send them a letter apparently and then if they keep calling you, you can sue them.
They are violating the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and you can also threaten to call the attorney general and federal trade commissioner.

I just asked them for their supervisor and I was verbally abused. I want to stop this company so badly.I don't own anyone anything and they are calling me 7 times a day. Which is also harassment, which they are not allowed to do either.

I filed for Chapter 7 long time ago, I don't owe anything to anyone, my debts were discharged at the court. Why this debt collector is calling days and nights?

RPM debt collectors, they buy old debts for pennies!!....you do not have to pay them, they are not the original loaners. Read the law.

The RPM phone calls mine and says nothing...the line is dead.

Called me as well from several numbers for debts by people I know but have only visited my house ages ago. They keep calling even though I don't know the address or current phone number for the people they want to talk to.
Does anyone know the physical address of the call center, of the owner of the business, of the owner of the building that the call center is in, and of the owner of the house that the owner of this harassment company lives in if they are a renter?

tried calling these people back / they were rude / i still have no idea why they called but dont ever call them back as they were real crappy on the phone
