Emails and then calls me from a BLOCKED number, didn't answer so he text messages me at this number.

He says hes ready to pay $800 ontop of my asking price for my car for sale, "Email only now"

he wants me to reply to "Richard4Sullivan@gmail.com"

I received the exact same message but the number was 760-671-0534. This screams scam...

Yup same guy here about my rendezvous, seems like typical scam. i usually play them to get as much traffic as possible. this can sometimes allow the authorities to try and catch them.  he txted from 17602370748  but he email was the same as yours here richard4sullivan.gmail.com . no one will ever pay more than a listed price for anything this is a scam.

I was just thinking you might have had some other buyer's who are interested in buying the Vehicle from you before i contacted you so i think the best way for me to outbid them all is by offering you another additional $800.CND to your asking price on the ad on Kijiji,  I won't be coming for the inspection of the Vehicle my self due to present Job,  I only have a pick-up Agent who will be contacting you about where and when the picking of the Vehicle will taking place after have completed the payment transaction with you my self.

its a scam.

"Hi, I just saw your ad on kijiji. I'm ready to add additional sum of $800 to the price you are asking on the add if you will sell it to me. Please respond ASAP on my Email only now then will take it from there to: richard4sullivan@gmail.com"

It just happened to me too,,minutes ago.  Received a text on my phone offering me 800$over my asking price.  1/2 hour after I posted an add on Kijiji in Nova Scotia.  Area code was unfamiliar so I Googled the phone number and his email address and come across this site!!  the number was 1 760 239 7194 and the email was richar4sullivan@gmail.com.

He did this to me too.  Thought it was strange so I Googled him and found this.  I just emailed him with questions.  I don't get it how does he make money off of this?  He has my name, email and phone number, should I be worried?

People, according to The Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre, this is a PAYPAL SCAM. Don't deal with this guy. Simply contact the center at 1-888-495-8501 to report it.

I just almost got taken in by this person as well.  Everything identical to what everyone else has posted.  BEWARE PEOPLE!!!!    He then states that he requires $600 sent as freight fees upfront and he'll reinburse once he makes his payment through paypal.  Don't get taken in.  Report this SOB to kijiji and paypal.  I did and hope they investigate and catch the SOB.

Well in regards to the Vehicle am very much interested in buying it from you so you don't have to look around for any other buyer again.  I am actually buying it for my Parent at home in Ontario as a surprise and before i can get it sent it to them i have to make sure the its in a good condition . I hope you understand my point that there is no way i come to do the inspection of the Vehicle my self as have said earlier besides the Car will be picked agent that will be coming over to pick the Vehicle up and transported to Ontario where my Parents stays, So whatever you tell me  about the good and the bad aspect of the Vehicle is what i will believe and also inform the Pick-up agent

After have completed the payment the agent will contact you about where and when the pick up will take place and they will also be of assistance to do the change of ownership when they get there.   but before i proceed with the Payment is there is any problem which you're yet to mention that i should know , please let me know now meanwhile can you please please take the add off online now till we complete the transaction

This time the number was 646-503-5506, and I received a related but different approach from another, at 213-640-2921 named bushjerry91.

If you know how to report those numbers, please feel free to do so.

He just did the same to me from a 6464936842 number i called it back and its a " pinger" number, also offered me $800 above price.and also now as i type this from 937 280 5023 and 740 248 5623 wow buddy is on a rampage.  all i want to do is sell my car.

Same thing just got a txt from this ass offering $800 more, we googled it and saw all of these notes! Hope he gets what is coming to him.
