- Scott13I get calls from this number almost daily. There is never anyone there. It's been going on for months.
- tash in WIGot a call from this one and they won't stop calling either and there is never anyone on the other line.
- Caller: Cellular Call
- Peter| 1 replyrecorded message saying it looks like I may be having trouble paying my mortgage. Caller ID says "Modify Srvc" Message introduces a man named Mr. Bryant. Press 1 to talk to someone, press 2 to be removed from our list.
What I really wanted was to find out if they actually are looking at my private information or are they lying to me. I pressed 1 and asked where they obtained my information and she quickly hung up on me.
I wish people who call random numbers and lie to make a pitch would be put out of business.- Caller: did not say
- DimiConstant calls in the past week. I have never answered the call, but when I called the number, it was a faint recording directing me to enter my phone number plus area code to be placed on their "do not call list."
I did not do this, as I'm sure it would only facilitate my phone number being circulated as a "good" number. The company or type of business was not identified.
As per Peter's message above, I do not believe that any of these companies have "real" information on anyone. The computers are set to random dial numbers and the script is written up before hand. Pure boilerplate stuff. Just don't fall for their tricks of trying to extracate TRUE information from you during the course of the call. - CherJust received a call from this number above, it showed up on our caller ID, it was a recording but before he could say much he cut us off.
Since we are on the no call list, I thought I would check out the number and was surprised to see these posts.
These are annoying, thanks for the info.- Caller: unavailable
- TN| 1 replyThese people are calling my parents, threatening and intimidating them, stating they are "coming to get the car". this has gone on now for two weeks. Today, they stated that they were on their way to get the car.
- Caller: none
- Michele M replies to TNSounds like they are threatening your parents. Why not report them to the Attorney General, State of California?
- CarelliNo message left on the answering machine, first call was today. Caller ID came up as "CANC", I thought maybe it was solicitation for cancer research. Obviously they change their ID, so they probably aren't selling anything but trying to get your personal info - mortgage is just what people are most likely to have a problem with these days. I also get (from other numbers) that "it's imperitave that you reach us regarding your credit card balances" (I have none), and also believe they're hoping you reveal personal info. I don't like to call back because that verifies they've reached a working number, and they'll either try themselves using different lines, or -more likely- sell it.
- SteveJust received a call from them.
They claimed I had credit card debt of over $10,000 and a 29% interest rate.
I informed them that I am conducting an official investigation of their organization and needed to speak to a supervisor.
Supervisor explained that they are just a call center, and here is the information to send legal process to.
Allied Services, 1811 Maple Leaf Drv Ottawa ONT CAN. H7M42
I recommend that everyone avoid these people at all costs, I am also filing a complaint with the FTC against both the call center and this supposed credit consolidation agency. You should file a complaint as well.

- PrivateInfo replies to PeterNo, it should be illegal for anyone to call you at your house unless they have written permission signed by you in front of them stating that you agree to let them call you. This document needs to be an individual piece of paper in plain writing with no other writing on it. It can't be part of a credit card charge or any other document.
These morons just bribe the politicians to let them abuse your phone service, hiding behind phony lies like the freedom of speech. If the politicians would do their jobs instead of taking bribes from everyone who has money, they'd have a opt-in list instead of an opt out list. Why do I need to opt out of anything to prevent some clowns from abusing my phone service? It's my phone, and I'm not paying to have it in my house so that some idiot can use it to try and sell me their garbage. It's my phone and I'll use it as I see fit.
This "freedom of speech" that these idiots throw at you is a joke. Freedom of speech doesn't exist in my house. If you say something I don't like, I'll throw you out. Freedom of speech ends at my front door. - pissed offI also received a call from the 760 526 8132 but the message left was to return call to 800-883-8312...Voice message stated I also had a $10,000 credit card debit w/ 29% interest rate and it was imperative that I call back and speak with David. Sounds to me like they are trying to run a scam somewhere. Also when you dial the 800 number it says no one is available to take your call
- Caller: unknown
- DCUReceived voice message @ 2:47 PM, 06/12/08, from this number. Caller ID indicates call is from CANC. The voice message (VM) indicates that a David, claiming he represents Consumer Alert, is calling about a "credit card" of $10,000.00 which is now subject to a 29.99% "default interest rate." The VM further indicates that a response within 24 hours is required at 800-883-8312. Repeated attempts to call the number are met with a VM indicating no one is available to take the call...followed by a "Good-Bye." There is no opportunity presented to leave this caller a return voice message.
I do not own a credit card and have not for quite a number a years.- Caller: Consumer Alert
- Call type: Debt collector
- JasonReceived call 7/2/08, 3:08pm ET.
Was on the other line, didn't answer... no message left. This is the third time I've received a call from this number in the past five days.- Caller: unknown
- JrayJust received a call from this number,
mans' voice said they knew that I had
credit card debts of over $10,000 and
that they could help to reduce them.
I told them that I did not own any credit
cards, and never have.I know for a fact,
I do not have any credit card debts of
over $10,000. Said they would take my
number off their list. I wish there
was some way these people could be
prosecuted!- Caller: Unknown
- Mr C from TexasHave been getting calls from 760-526-8132 and 760-526-8134 for the past two weeks, either nobody answers or call is disconnected as soon as I answer the phone. When I finally called the number back there was a recording asking to press 1 to speak with somebody or press 2 to be removed from there list, all I had to do was give my name and number. The recording said this was the procedure as they were not part of the "National No Call list". When I left the message without provide them my name I told them to remove my number from there list. I decided to google this number only to find out countless people being harassed. Hopefully by calling this morons to remove my number. I haven't inadvertenly encouraged to call even more
- Cajun SunshineI received a call at home from 760-526-8132 at exactly 7:00 PM. "Paul" from Consumer Alert left a voicemail message alleging that this was his last attempt to help me eliminate my credit card debt "down to zero." He said the phrase "Down to zero" twice, and it just sounds ambiguous IMO. Assumably he meant zero dollars? I don't have credit cards or any debt whatsoever to consolidate. "Paul" left a callback number of 800-883-8312.
Seeing that this same company uses a variety of messages and tactics, I can bet the operators work on some kind of commission basis. Telemarketers, bleh!- Caller: CANC
- JohnSame as C in Texas
- luluSame deal as Jray, similar to others.
Caller ID is CANC 760-526-8132.
I answered the phone and hear a message about 10,000 of debt and a default rate of 29%. The recording said to press 1 to talk to him about a very important offer.
No call back number and no other options.
Of course, when I try to call the 760 number, I get a busy signal.
I am on the don't call list for all of the good that does.
~Lu- Caller: talked too fast for me to remember
- Laxman007I received a call at home from 760-526-8132 3 x's a day. Yes it was "Paul" from Consumer Alert left a voicemail message alleging that this was his last attempt to help me eliminate my credit card debt "down to zero legaly." left a callback number of 800-883-8312.
- Caller: CANC
- Laxman007Learned a great new trick, call them back at the 800-883-8312 that they provide & ask them 'if they have any credit card debt and are struggling with thier mortgage'. . . and if you listen really carefully you can hear their little telemarketing brains get frazzled. I did this about 10 x's in a row & they took me off the list and blocked my number! LOL! good times!
