I figure people like this will never honor the do not call list. They call me under all sorts of pretenses. Here is what I do about it:   I subscribed to Packet 8 voice-over-internet phone service... also known as 8x8. Its unlimited calling for you know, around 25/mo. When I got it I didn't know they had a few tricks up their sleeve for annoying callers. On their website there is a page where you can block incoming calls.     Well, some of these telemarketers have bought HUGE blocks of phone numbers. I spent 3 hours one day blocking 300 numbers from these fruitcakes, but it was worth it. I have never heard from them again. Now all they get when they call my number is a BUSY SIGNAL! hahah Screw those guys. They think the number is just busy but I will never answer it. They can't ever get my voice mail now. The trouble is, some of these organizations probably buy thousands of numbers. I will block every one of them if I have to. See ya.

This number has started calling daily - ID is CANC. Never anyone on the line.
Is there a way to make the Attorney General's in every state start reading this site???

From "Paul" who said I owe over 10K on credit card at 29.9% interest. I should stay on the line to speak to someone. I stayed on the line and when some one answered several minutes later I started to tell them my thoughts and they hung up.

Called and spoke with my wife fishing for information. The message said something like "You have exceeded 10k on a credit card. Touch 1 to speak to a representative". She did so and got a lady who tried to get information from her about who she was. She wouldn't give them who she was and asked who their company was but the lady wouldn't tell her. Eventually they hung up when they couldn't get through. Looks like phishing to me.

I really want you guys to all do this! Save this number. The woman who answers the phone said her name is Cassandra. Well, whenever you have a bad day, call this number and ask for her, or Kirby, or whoever happened to call you and bother you, and give them a piece of your mind. Tell them how pathetic you think they are for taking a job like this. Tell them whatever, just do it over and over again. I especially love pretending I'm actually going for their schpeal. I act like I can't hear so they have to yell, or that I have no attention span or can't remember what I just said or they just said - It's great fun. Then, when you're bored ask them how they feel about having someone waste their time. You'll get hung up on, but you can always call right back again. And again.

ALSO - File a complaint w/ the ftc like I did.
