have you ever bought mags from Active periodicals? I did YEARS ago. Thats why this agency was calling me. Note. Don't ever buy anything from active periodicals.  They never notify you  and just keep charging you.

Phone number is located in Southern California, land line, and calls but when I pick up it hangs up, no voicemails left. Started calling constantly about two days ago.

Yeah, same here.  What can I do to stop this harassment?  They woke me up at 6:30 today.

This company is a collections agency for Area Circulation Magazine". a big scam check with your attorney generals office regarding both of these companys. I've been trying to stop the magazines and the calls for a year.
Michigan attorney general has had several complaints but they need more to shut these two down.

I have received 12 calls from them in 2 days! They have hung up 11 out of 12 times. Last call I picked up and I asked them why they are calling me and the lady stated she could not tell me until I gave them my number. I told the lady "you just called me!" and she hung up.

I just received a phone call from this number wanting to talk to my son who is in the Navy and then asked if I was his wife and when I informed her that she was with him they wanted a cell phone number and I told her I had it but she was not getting it.  I have blocked this number.  I'm so tired of getting calls like this!!!!!

bunch of losers, man.  they start calling me at 730am, and don't stop til 9 at nite, i get 3-4 calls everyday, nobody ever answers and when you call back, you can't really hear what company they're with.  talked to someone the other day, promised they'd remove my number and i'm still getting calls.  why can't you block 800 numbers?!

my husband answered the phone again and this time there was someone there and not ~dead air~ this time, I took the phone and said his name was David Fergusen and he was with Luebke Baker and Associates, and preceded to tell me about the Southern Magazine Promotion thing I was with and that I owed $550 this time and if I wanted to drop it to $249.
Well with the verbal agreement he said I was with went for 58 months, witch was never discussed in the first place and months ago I stopped paying for said mag. cause I was told verbally that I no longer owed money for them.       SO I STOPPED PAYING

Now there trying to get money out of me and he gave me an 800 # to reach him back, um no, and aparantly there's a recording of my agreement on the phone when I began the magazines???????  RIGHT

um where's my signature????
I'm going to lawyers about this plus with other complaints I've found about them with other scams over the web, my suggestion if you see this number dont bother answering and go ahead and look up ~Luebke Baker and Associates~ see what you find..............

OMG! It's been 4 days and I've rec'd an average 20 - 25 calls already. Same number listed about. I've answered 4 to 5 and all I got were hang-ups. Left NO voicemails. I'm really annoyed right now. Is there anything that I can do, besides changing you #?

Number is registered to Luebke Baker and Associates, Peoria IL. It's a Collection Agency/ Debt Consultant. Freakin ay!! Adding this # to my block list should help...Thanks for everyone's comments!!

Crikey!  I am amazed at the power these people seem to think they wield. Is there not laws that protect the consumer for pity's sake??? I do not owe anyone for any magazines, my number is listed under a business and does not have my name attached to it in any way but they know that I am "in arrears" for some supposed subscription??? High gas prices, economic slow-down, and other serios matters and these people don't have anything better to do with their time than harass your average Joe American???  Sheesh!

Calling stating I owe money.  SCAMMERS! LIARS! Protect yourself.  They will harrass you.  My bank canceled my debit card because it was compramised and now I owe them.  Yea right!  LOOSERS!

THEY KEEP CALLING ME 5 TIMES A DAY STARTING 3 DAYS AGO
