I have just received a call from them on my Work Cell phone. They did not leave a voicemail. I was just curious who this number belongs to before i call back, so i went on google to enter the number and found this blog... interesting..  I'm on the do not call list as well, but that does not seem to matter....

caller said that my automobiles warranty was about to expire. and that if i wanted to remain covered that i needed to pay an initial 329.00 and 89.00 a month for 18 months.i said really i have a warranty on my 15 yr old truck that i purchased through private sale? they hung up. this is a scam!!!

Just got a call a few minutes ago from these guys (didn't pick it up of course, it was on my cell). I also looked the number up on Google and found this site. This is very interesting indeed.

Just got this call on my prepaid cell phone. I did not pick up since I couldn't find my phone in time. I decided to look up the number since I did not reconize the area code and found this site. I'm glad that I didn't call back since I have read this posts. People like this need to get a life! I mean come on, they're not suppose to be soliciting cell phones!

We would like to clarify that Mission Hills Mortgage is not the originator of the calls as posted in your message.  While our company does have a division known as Lenders Direct, we are not located in San Diego.  Our attorney has filed a complaint with the telephone company that is providing service to the number identified in the calls.

I got a call from this number but it was for auto warranty... They call from everywhere, though.

Same with me...  I don't recognize the number, I don't answer.  No message left on mine, neither

You may not be the originator of these calls but then you get on their case. You're in the business so you contact them and find out. Otherwise, you're to blame as far as I'm concerned.

I got the same call and called the number back and was able to put my number on their do not call list. Twice I received calls from this number on different cell numbers.

I received an unwanted and unsolicited call from 760-661-0489 on my cell on 7/31/07 at 11:45am HST.  Recorded message says that my auto warranty will be expiring and they advise that they have sent me notices.  An option is provided to speak with a representative.  I hung up because I never had an auto warranty.

received a call from Fanny Mae - recorded message - I called the number back and the recording stated that you can press whatever number and be taken out of their data base.

Yep! I don't answer numbers I don't recognize either. Glad I was able to find this site so I don't answer them if they keep calling. Thnx for the heads up guys. SMILE!

I'm glad I found this site before I tried calling them back. Looks like the fact I don't answer numbers I don't know saved me a lot of hassle and minutes. Thnx guys! Smile!

called and left me a message.... called back and was added to the do not call list.... Day 1... so we will see what happens.....

I suspect that the telephone companies are selling our numbers to companies  that will use the numbers for marketing purposes before profiting/selling the numbers to other companies.  This is beyond an invasion of privacy! I cancelled my wireless account with verizon because of they had no "idea" of how it was happening. Now, I am having this problem with sprint!  According to my co-workers, this is happening to everyone?!!  I suggest that everyone should become re-aquainted with writting letters to their Congress/senator representative. REGULATION has to be restored!!

We've gotten two calls from this number in the wee hours - one shortly after 2 a.m. this morning.  We're not answering however it is an unwelcome alarm clock.

i got a call too, it's a scam. when i asked them if they knew who i was they hung up, she said my car warranty had expired and that they had tried to contact me but i never got anything. don't fall for it! they wanted $1800 from me and pressured me that i had to do it right now or else i'd lose my warranty. i don't have a car warranty. so...

I received a call from this number with no message.  I recently lost my house to a foreclosure and have been getting a number of calls.  I'm thinking that this may be related.
