They use hundreds of different numbers, although with spoofing, they all might come from the same office somewhere. Worse, they never check the accuracy of numbers they call. Real low-lifes. Called me twice from this number yesterday but left no messages. Standard procedure for Portfolio Recovery. Have now blocked number.

Yes, these bums keep calling and are taking up many of my block caller allowance.  Have zero idea of why they're calling as I owe nothing.

No message crazy look above how many different numbers they use, blocked but sure they'll get another number.

they are calling me and probable u also because some one we know probable a family member or relative owes them money and they are looking for a way to contact the debtor .

Ditto to the two above posts....we've been called at least since 2009---Their MO is to call twice each day.  Also believe they are looking for some one else to get a #.....I've nothing in collections or behind.  I myself have recorded 36 numbers from these jerks.  The above list is just overwhelming....can't block that many #s.

They have been calling this number since we bundled our services with xfinity (about 2 years ago) The people who had this number must have had a lot of creditors I have never answered any of these phone calls and they have gone down to JUST 2, Portfolio Recovery is one..This is a private number, we have given this number out to ONLY family members, but still they are relentless with the calls.. All hours of the day.. 8:26 this morning.. And many times after 9pm.. So after 2 years of not answering.. They still call.. I'm afraid to get a new number.. Because who knows what I'll get?

I don't think this list really matters because these idiots are illegally spoofing telephone numbers. They probably have thousands more...

If they can not leave a message then they do not want me to talk to them. Plus if they believe I owe them some money then why don't they send me a bill in the mail? If they can get my phone number then they can get my address too, so send a bill and I will then call you and let you know that I don't have an account with you or anyone else!

they call relentlessly every morning, never leave a message, and i never pick up the phone unless I know who's calling or if i'm expecting a call.   But unless they leave a message, I'll never correspond with them.

Same story as others. Lots of calls the past few weeks. All times of day and night. All days of the week. Play switcheroo with number but all lead to same place. Don't own any money. Don't have other family members that do. No clue what they want because they don't seem concerned enough to leave a message. We don't answer calls we don't know under any circumstance as we believe our answering machine offers the opportunity for legitimate businesses/number who legitimately need or want to contact us, to leave a message. Cannot personally answer the question "Call Type" because we have no idea who they are or why they would invest so much time calling. Actually finding it amusing with each call now!

I bought my phone from AT&T just before Christmas and now this company is calling me every few days asking for a "Gary Donovan"  (maybe the number's previous user?)

How do I get them to stop?

They call everyday.  Do not leave a message.  I do not answer.  I do not owe anybody money.
