Another annoying Portfolio Recovery call.
Called @ 5:22 pm eastern time. I didn’t answer & no message was left. They hung up when the answering machine came on. I don’t answer calls from names & numbers I don’t know or call them back. Funny how you don’t get any calls from them for awhile, then all of a sudden they start calling back.

Debt collector asking for someone who we've never heard of. We have reported them repeatedly but they keep harassing us almost every day.

I married in 2010. EVER since then I've been getting calls from collection agencies for Anna Garnet(sp). The name is not even close to my former name nor married name. I lived in Germany for ten years, returned in 1998 and had no problems for years. I have excellent credit and yet, I am being harassed constantly. It recently started on my cell phone. I've never used it for any accounts, credit cards, etc... still have a landline I use for that. I've had that number for 14 years now. I never answer it unless I can see a caller ID. I was okay with that but now my cell is blowing up. The only thing I can think of is that I recently bought a new car and the loan company sold my information.

Here we go again only.  They have so many different #s.  Caller ID:  Portfolio Recov.  Will keep blocking

They call every day using spoof numbers.  They call my work number, my work cell phone, and my personal cell phone every single day, 7 days a week.  Sad thing, yes I owe a debt which I agreed to settlement payments after receiving written correspondence.  Despite this, they still call relentlessly and never leave a message.  If I answer, they always hang up.

Well, that is what happens when you agree to pay crooks without making them follow the law.  Why have you not done anything about it?  Why have you not sent them a certified, return receipt letter telling them to stop calling your work number because you are not allowed to receive calls there?  Why have you not sued them?  Why have you not reported them to federal and state agencies?
