Called my cell. I didn't answer. They didn't leave message.

Call and leaves no message

This is one us the many random calls I've been getting every day for a week now!

I have to answer unknown numbers because of my company. This number hung up the minute you answer. Makes me nervous that they have my cell number. One of my employees told me she got call yesterday from same number on her cell but they knew her name. Rather scary that it seems they are collecting valid cell numbers once someone answers them.

Calls like this automatically get blocked and published to the Internet so the information can help others being harassed by illegal telemarketing.

Received a call from them waited for a representative after about 2-3 minutes someone named carl answered and asked if i were responding to an ad i told them i had no idea what the call was about and he immediately hung up on me...beware of this company.

I get a message to press 1 if I want to lower credit card debt, so I press 1 because I actually want to talk to a person to take me off their list... I get a person, I say "hi, How're you doing today?" she says "great, [***] great"...  then I asked her to take me off the list and she hung up on me... I get these scam calls daily at times, why isn't there protection from them? I mean seriously.... I am so sick of getting calls from these waste of skin, [***]!  I've blocked so many calls but it doesn't matter, they call from slightly different numbers every time.

Called cell today. Message left warned me that this was final notice to lower my interest rate; press 3 to discontinue further services.

Unreal that that we're getting veiled threats from this pest.

Thanks to all post here so we know to block this number.

Received a call on my mobile phone from 762-231-2012 on 1/28/2016 at 3:19pm EST. Caller ID displayed "United States". Did not answer and no message was left.

Based on the comments posted it appears that this is yet another number being used by the "Card Services" scam.

I have added this number to my Google Voice block list.

Just got a call from this number which I did not recognize so I didn't answer.
I searched the number and found this website where most folks say this is a credit card scammer.
So I blocked the number.   By the way for those of you that have a Samsung Galaxy this is easy to do.
Just go to your recent calls list and pick the phone number that you want to block and press the lower left
hard button on your phone (not the lower left of your screen).  A menu should pop up with four choices.
The bottom choice is typically "Add to Reject List".

People....if everyone would stop answering or calling back numbers they don't recognize and who don't leave a message these [***] would have to find other ways to scam people.  Simply DON'T ANSWER.

Received a call today from this number.  Since is was an area code I am unfamiliar with, I didn't answer the call.  They left no message.

I have blocked this call and they keep calling, they hang up when they are asked who it is,

Called me and said was able to refinance my student loans and get my loans forgiven yet I still have to pay. I hung up as they did not even know my name and heavy accent. Government does not forgive student loans. You also would never have to have if they were forgiven lol.

Called, left no message.

Says Georgia. No message left. Blocked.

Nope, they don't necessarily know your cell phone number. Their robotic dialers just select an area code and an exchange prefix and just go from there e.g. (XXX) YYY-0001, (XXX)YYY-0002...etc.
