Another offer to lower credit card interest rate. When I pressed "1" an automated voice told me that I was caller #132 waiting to talk to a representative. It took a solid 10 minutes to work my way down to #1 at which time a pleasant young lady asked me to confirm that I had at least $4,000 in credit card debt. At that point, I pressed the key that played a fax tone into the phone. I wonder if those 131 people ahead of me really entertained illusions regarding lowering the interest rates, or were like me, just waiting for my turn to annoy the scammers.

Looks like another scam telemarketing operation.  Called at 3pm Pacific. The police can scan everyone's license plates all day long looking for minor violations, but they can't do anything about this? Infuriating.

Got a call today. Did not answer and they left no message.
Caller Id comes up as Peoples Assistance.... Yeah right...they want to assist in you losing your money. SCAM SCAM SCAM.

The called my mobile #.  Didn't recognize so I didn't answer.  The left a voicemail.  Like all others, they indicated the are looking to reduce my interest rates.  Added to my block list.

Keeps calling and hanging up... and I'm FED up!

Don't ever call these idiots back or acknowledge their calls in any way (ex: press 1 to remove from list, press 2 to speak to someone, etc.) as they will put your number on an "active number" list and you will actually get MORE calls from other scammers.
