- There is no reason replies to Midwest Joe| 1 replyto post all those numbers, they have over 400 spoofed numbers that they use.
- Midwest Joe replies to There is no reasonMany thanks. Wasn't sure how many they used, but figured most were spoofed. All the ones I've posted are ones I've actually logged. It might benefit users of this service to have a link to the whole Portfolio list, to be able to block them beforehand, if desired. Hard to imagine them using that many numbers, but nothing should surprise me these days.
- iclick| 1 replyThey call from a different number everyday. Calling about a debt that was settled 7 years ago. I have reported them but it doesn't do any good. The statue of limitations here is 4 years anyway. But the debt was paid per the settlement agreement.

- BigA replies to iclickWho have you reported them to? Have you sent them a debt validation letter or a cease and desist calling letter as required by law to assert your rights under the FDCPA (this should most certainly be done by certified, return receipt mail with these crooks)? Have you talked to a lawyer about suing them?

- patparisPortfolio jerks did same to me as Sherry (above) only my first call was at 8:13 am (guess they don't know about 9 am rule) then they called on the 770-752-4103 number. They are bottom-feeding morons with a gazillion different numbers --- don't have debt and will never answer unknown area codes or numbers or caller ID with Portfolio -- if sooo important, leave message!!!

- AnthonyThese people are Blood Sucking Idiots!! I had cell phone service with AT&T 7 years ago. I cancelled my service before the end of the month. I asked "Is there any thing owed on my account?" I was informed I was all paid up and the phone would be disconnected on the 1st of the month. The phone went dead on the 1st and I forgot about AT&T until several months later when Portfolio started to call. They told me my account was turned over for collection....for $79.99!!! I told them to kiss my*** and hung up. I called AT&T and was told "your phone was disconnected and they had no record of sending me to collection plus my account was in good standing when I left them" Now fast forward 7 years. I get 2-6 calls a day from Portfolio and I have not got anything in writing in 7 years. My Cable company blocks all the Portfolio calls so I do not have to talk to them. It is just annoying that they bother me for 7 years on a $79.99 debt that I never owed!!

- K. R.I shut off my answering machine because of all the spam. They've called almost every day. I just don't answer. I have no past due loans nor collections. Total spam.

- D.J.Because I get so many scam robocalls on my cell phone AND even my federal government work phone, I don't even keep my home landline plugged in. However, I do log in to Verizon to check the call log. The scary thing is that every single solitary call is a scam robocall. Every one. I get several from "Portfolio Recovery" every day, often one after the other after the other, in quick succession. I moved here over two years ago and never had such calls on my old landline in another state. I really think they're another scam operation because all debt I owe is paid on time. I don't owe anything that would be put into collections. Plus, if I really did owe and they have my house number, I'd be getting letters too, which I don't. They could also be calling for the person who had the number before me. Whatever. But I get sick of seeing the numbers day after day after day. I block them all, but regardless they all still show up in my Verizon log. Frustrating beyond belief!!
