call from 775-562-0196, did not answer, don't know who it is, did a search, number is in reno, nevada. now I see they are calling all over with some kind of scam.

How can we block this kind of call? This unscrupulous dialer is definitely not respecting our privacy and finding a way to obtain our personal information. Certainly, I hope there should be some way to punish these people so they can no longer waste our time.

Got the call, rang a few times and was gone b4 answered it. No voicemail.

Same as other calls...spanish speaker and lots of static.  Hung up.

They're still at it today, the 13th.
Just received another call from the same number.

Just recieved a call from this number.  As a prior poster sated, there was alot of static in the background.  It was a spanish speaking woman's voice.    All I caught with my limited Spanish was I had won $2,000.  The line then went dead.

Missed the call, in spite of rushing upstairs to get my cell phone...  Didn't recognize the number, so looked up area code 775.  As I do have relatives living in Nevada, I broke down and called it back....  Got the 'travel related' message, and I too, hung up without pressing '1'....  I'll watch for this on my phone bill.  However, anyone using a scam to 'qualify' numbers, is not likely to execute the next phase of their process from the same number.

stupid callers woke me up.  I'm glad i ignored it now that Ive read this.  Of course this could be a part of the conspiracy to get us to write here.  I hope my computor does'nt die.

received 4 unsolicited calls on 12/12 and 12/13/08 from this number on my cell phone. I did not answer nor did I return the calls.

Just got a call from this number at 1:08pm pacific time and they hung up when I answered it.

Called on my cell, but didn't leave message. Figured it was a telemarketer. Do not know how they got my cell.

Called my cell phone.  I did not answer the call because I did not recognize the number.  My friend also received a call from this number.  The person was speaking Spanish.  She could not understand and hung up.

Got same call while in movie theater with phone on vibrate, in CA. Very annoying.

They called me Saturday night.....no message left.  I researched first before calling the number back, since I actually know a few people in Nevada.  This is a good site, a bunch of others have *no* information on this number.  Here there's tons.

A "travel something" scam!

This call came into my office phone on a Sunday.  We dont work on Sundays so I know its a meaningless call.

This call came in on my cell this morning. I heard the static and the cash register and then Spanish. Wish my fiance was here she speaks Spanish.

Call was in Spanish. Sound of cash register in background.
