Call came 1/8/2011 at 10:10 am PDT. I never answer # I don't know - they did not leave a message.

do not call back, I don't buy anything

caller left a voice mail message saying her name was brooke bentley and that she was available and to call her back soon if I wanted a girlffriend experience. since i'm the wife of a police officer (and the mother of 3) I don't really need a girlf friend.

i got this call this morning. for some reason i didn't hear the ringtone, but i still had a missed call afterward. rumors are that it is a spanish spam caller. i can't say if these rumors are true or not.

Called yesterday around 4:30. All I heard was odd clicking in the background, so freaked out and ended the call. How the hell did they get my number? And how is it the receiver is charged? I was NOT informed it was a collect call...

what i do when i get one of these people who call my cell,i then save it as junk in my cell phonebook and the junk setting call sends that one straight to voicemail...does not even ring in on cell.....

What is this a scam within a scam..I type this number and end up here..im 843..it seems cell landlines and even office lines are getting hit.  Sounds like a computer making random calls and recycling since one person here had 4 calls in a day. No one here spoke to a live individual that I know of so..whats left. Twilight Zone type stuff here..Good luck every one!

Received call, didn't recognize the number, so I didn't answer.  Googled number and saw this sight.  It is one in a number of spam call numbers.  Report it and don't answer it.  If it's someone you know, they'll leave a message and put your number on the "Do Not Call" list for telemarketing, etc.

I ignored it and checked Google.Glad I did.

This is a Robo-Call. An automated machine just calls numbers in sequence, so sooner or later it is possible for every phone in the world to be called by them. It is SPAM/SCAM. The call NEVER originates from where it says it does, that is faked. They have probably gotten some poor soul in Nevada blamed for the calls on this one. They have some way of making it show the call from somewhere that is isn't.
Here is how I handle these calls, since you cannot stop them because they are from OUTSIDE of the USA & its jurisdiction:
I put them in my contacts list as a new number with the word SPAM & then the last 4 digits of the number that showed when they called. So this one would say, 'SPAM 0197' & then after entering that, I go & set the Ringtone to 'SILENT' or 'NONE', so that if they ever call again, it does not interrupt anyone at this end. I REALLY like the person that had a phone where they could set the 'Out of Service' Beeps for incoming calls!!! That usually disconnects a Spam/Scam call really fast. Anyone else got any tricks up their sleeves to handle or get rid of these types of calls, please post those like I have & the 'out of service tone' post!!!

Recording states that this is a travel related call and then tells me they will call back or
I can request to have my number removed.  Sounds like a sales call I did not need or want so I removed my number.
