they just called my cellphone.. i did not answer though

My area code is 317, by the way.  Indianapolis

My phone is Seattle area code

started getting these calls after posting resume on monster job website

Just called me also.  Didn't answer.  Guess that was the right move!

Got a call from this number about half an hour ago. No message. Must be a telemarketer or some other idiotic scam.

here I am too...Edmonton

Missed call, second time i got phoned from an unknown "hispanic" number.
But the other missed call was a different number.

I just got a call from this number, I'm in Chicagoland

I've gotten about 7 calls from this number in the last hour at my office's main line. Called back, automated message said I could take my number off their list. It said it was "travel-related call." Took number off list, but it said it wont be effective for 48 hours, and got another call from them a minute later. Really annoying! I'm at a 949 area code.

I posted a few minutes ago.  I just read that someone started getting these calls after posting on the monster job website... I was just thinking that today I sent my cell number in an email responding to something on craig's list.  Perhaps craigslist/monster dials the number automatically to see if it is a working number?  Just trying to figure this out...

how did they get our numbers? cell numbers?

Did anyone recently book on Expedia?  I did last night & just received a call from this number

I just got a call from this number a few minutes ago on my cell as well.  A new cell phone number that was just activated this week.  I'm in Southern California.  This is truly bizarre.

just got this call , but they didn't leave a message. I must be a sales men.

Just got a call from this number. I stopped picking up phone calls from numbers I dont know. I've heard sometimes if you do pick you will be charged. Similar scam to getting calls for your "expired car warranty", it was said that if you pick up or call back (one of those) some phone companies will charge you money. Be cautious folks.

just got a call on my cell. CA

they called me in Spanish, the message was: eres la numero 10 y eres ganadora de un premio ( you are the # 10 and you are the winner !!  and  I hang up

I spoke earlier with a sales rep from "workoplolis" similar I think to that monster site. I gave him my cell...wonder if its related?

They keep calling me and I am in area code 813. Does anyone know who this person is. Always in Spanish....

Yes!  I recently used travelocity to book a flight- gave my cell number as contact for flight change updates... Maybe expedia and travelocity do the same thing/use the same number to check if the number is working?
