- JessI got a call today from this number, and I just figured it's like all the 999-999-9999 and 000-000-0000 callers--A collections agency or some other annoying thing that is blocking the Caller ID. I didn't answer it, of course.
- ATT customerGot a call from this number and then they hung up before I got a chance to answer.

- KaeThis number showed up on my caller ID and was announced on my caller ID answering machine. The number was given as a friend left a message offering her home number which of coures is not this number. Not sure why. I'm thinking it comes up when a number from one of the phone companies has been blocked.
- little A| 1 replyWe live n Florida, jsut got this call on house phone. The person has called everyday this week, very annoying. When you answer they hang up.Caller ID has 777-888-9999. Wish they would stop.
- Rob replies to little AI just got a new cell phone number about 2 months ago. Had tons of solicitors calling me so the new number was a necessity. About one week ago I attempted to get a loan over the internet. Next day these calls started 777-888-9999. I am assuming it is someone trying to sell something or a scammer trying to steal money or my identity. The number that shows up on your caller ID can be altered when the phone cal is place via a PBX. The PBX (in laymens terms) is a small communications center usually located within a business that needs many many phone lines. These calls usually come up as "Unavailable" but for some reason this individual(s) have opted to make their ID unique; hence the 777-888-9999 number. I will be calling my phone company to see what can be done about it. Probably not too much but I will post here again if I get posotive results.

- KimmI too have been receiving these calls. I never answer as the number itself is suspicous. I don't answer unknown callers either. Never a message left, but thank goodness for Caller ID! LOL I would just ignore the calls, they will eventually stop.

- anonymousSo this is what happened to me. I got a call from the phone number earlier in the day, tried to answer and nobody was there.
They called again at about a quarter after 7pm and it was some foreign man that was telling me that he had my name on a list of people that had been victimized by fraud. This is odd because I, to my knowledge, have not been a victim of fraud.
He said that I would be sent $599 since I have been victimized and I asked, "are you going to send me a check?"
He said, "No,no,no. We will deposit it directly into your bank account as soon as you give me the number for your. . ."
And that is when I cut him off and cussed him out. I used nothing but the "f" word and his response was not good.
I've done a LOT of work for call centers so I know how you ARE supposed to respond to an angry respondent. He did not do as one would expect someone in a call center to do. . .
He started to yell at me and tell me not to use profanity. Then he told me to shut up. Then he asked me if I knew who he was.
This number is NOT used to conduct surveys or sale any legitimate products. If you call it back, you will find that it is NOT a phone number. give this guy(s) hell. That would be glorious!- Caller: Indian scam Artist Inc.
